This was a fascinating read, but it really wore me out! Mr. Williams works so hard to prove his scripture interpretations, it was so very draining. I felt like I had been led through hours of hoop-jumping after finishing the book. I like other of Mr. Williams writings, but I have to disagree with him on his interpretations of Revelation. After reading his book (my first venture into the realm of those believing the tribulation ended in AD 70), I still cannot believe we are currently living in Christ's kingdom--that the great tribulation is over (ended at the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70), and nothing more is to come. Although he used many, many scriptures and various interpretations thereof to support his views, just as many scriptures, if not more, came to my mind, that he completely neglected to explain. They were such obvious omissions, I kept waiting for him to get to them and offer explanation, but that did not happen.
I am not writing this review to start a debate or discussion, but I am writing it to share the view contained in the book so as to help people choose if they would like to read it.
So, he did not convince me in his viewpoints, and I will continue, as always, to read the book of Revelation for myself, as God commands, and trust the Lord to work out my understanding in His timing. I will not lean to the understandings of men.
As for some of Mr. William's other writings, I have found them to be very edifying and challenging, and pray that his ministry will be blessed. He is a fine writer and seems to be quite passionate after God. I pray God continues to bless him and lead him.
