This story begins in a small town south of San Francisco, California. Colma, California is a cemetery town, not many things happen there! It is about a Rookie Police Officer just out of the academy trying to satisfy his father's wishes. The rookie cops name is Ray Ottoboni, a spoiled rich kid who never wanted to be a cop! A religious kid that couldn't harm anyone. Ray was inexperienced in police work and had no one to advise him what to do! The Chief of police Dino had no training in police work and has never been to a Police Academy! As the story moves on Ray calls for an ambulance on a traffic accident. Mercy Ambulance responded to the scene and in those days the ambulance Company had one paramedic and a driver. After the injured person was treated, Wayne, who was the driver, started a conversation with Ray. That conversation started a chain of events that would change Ray's life forever. One thing leads to another and both parties end up in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Ray didn't know he was being setup in a murder. There is no way the rookie cop was supposed to know the ambulance driver was a killer! The decision that was made to bury the woman was wrong but the rookie cop was scared and totally in shock. Nobody knows what they would do if placed in that position. No matter if he is a police officer or a private citizen! After Lake Tahoe, the most bewildering true crime investigations take place. The story changes and the killer becomes a serial killer! The rookie cop, all alone and no one to help him! The police departments are not catching the serial killer. The rookie cop must somehow stop him! But how? He is involved! The story changes back and forth! The Rookie Cop is now assistant chief of police. He's attempted to find out if Wayne is the "Zodiac" killer. He found out information that points to Wayne as the "Zodiac" killer. When Wayne went to Los Angeles there were no more "Zodiac" killings! Colma is a small town just south of San Francisco, which is comprised mostly of Cemeteries. Having grown up an only child of wealthy parents. I think it's fair to say that I had a somewhat sheltered childhood. I always believed that everyone was good. My father was a powerful man, and he never believed in failure! That made my life very difficult, because everything I did had to be perfect! I went to Serra High School in San Mateo California. I skipped two grades in elementary school so I was very young when I went to High School. The Catholic Priests started me gambling. That was my Demise. Through out my life I lost Millions of dollars. I was in Politics most of my life. When I was 23 years old I was the youngest councilman in California, and then in 1968 I was the youngest Mayor in California. Being the son of a Powerful Father is a total nightmare. I couldn't get in any trouble. The family name was sacred and powerful, so that means my father had lots of enemies! My life was a living Hell! I caused my parents a great deal of suffering! I was in trouble constantly. In 1976 I was arrested for vote fraud. I was setup by my fathers enemies! I didn't go to jail, but I Disgraced the family name! In 1980 I won the election and I was back on top again. I made California history! Later in 1989 a documentary movie about my political career was filmed by movie director Barry Brann. It was nominated for a academy award, but it did not win. As you see my life goes up and down, like riding on a merry-go-round. I went from rich to poor in 10 years! I was totally messed up. Real source \ Quite possible killer

The author *was a police officer in the San Francisco area who met a strange, doomed public driver with murderous feelings toward women.
The author whose real life reads like a B movie, did have a habit of attracting the wrong people, and had a life of ups and downs that does seem far fetched, yet he did prove all his scandals and triumphs too me.

How did he manage to land on his feet catlike? Well, having a rich father with powerful political contacts, did smooth his course for a spell. Then the gambling bug bit him.
But the *real story came to a head at Lake Tahoe on Labor Day weekend in 1970...
