From the Back Cover
Filled with an array of strong characters. (Impressed with portrayal of Melanie--unbreakable spirit and disdain for self-pity make her a formidable heroine, as well as a great rooting interest.) Other great asset is plot--filled with so many twists and turns--it's bound to keep reader guessing right up to end.
E. Stacy Creamer, Editor
Riveting opening. Excellent plot. Impressive knowledge of geography, fauna, flora, and history.
Clara Alexander, Writer
Liked novel a lot - read it fast. Liked dramatic set-up. Particularly, liked setting.
Martha Glessing, Television Producer

It is obvious from the tone of the story that the two Smiths had a good time writing this.
