From the Author
I have long been concerned about the often misleading and over-hyped stories that appear on television and on the internet, and the way in which these reports shape public opinion. I wanted to write about what might go wrong when the media points its accusatory finger in the wrong direction. In Endangered, the public buys into an idea suggested by the media, politicians bow to public pressure, and only the revelation of the truth can stop the awful chain of events in Heritage National Monument. --This text refers to the Kindle Edition edition.

Best of all, you cannot predict where this one is going! It is one surprise after another, all the way through the book. Beason's descriptions of the wild park where the plot unwinds are breathtaking! It is like being there. And the trouble her hero (I hate the word heroine.) tumbles into time after time is so real you worry for her even though you are sure she is the hero and cannot be defeated. Hurrah for Pamela Beason and Sam Westin!
