Tanner Harris has been busy shagging his way through the ladies of east London, but getting caught by the paparazzi buck-naked with his trouser snake in his hands means he’s sowed his last wild oat.
Dr. Belle Ryan once thought Tanner Harris was the perfect kind of bearded bad boy she needed to relieve a bit of stress after her intense job as a surgical fellow, but an icy cold rejection from London’s sluttiest footballer puts the two at each other’s throats.
Fate and a favour conspire to put Tanner and Belle back in each other’s paths and they’re forced to do a lot more than get along to save face and their careers.
Rage turns to passion and tempers run sizzling hot when they realise they aren’t just falling for each other—they’re jumping head first. And neither have the endurance to keep their hands to themselves.

Ms. Daws delivers a stunning, surprising, heart-warming tale of two somewhat lost souls (though they might not think themselves as lost) who will struggle with each other and themselves to find their way to where they want to be.
Tanner and Belle, so different, yet such similar characters, are embarking on a journey, when an innocent night out puts them together in a way they weren't wanting, but can't escape. To keep up their image, they need to play nice, which isn't so easy when one seems to be a bit stuck up their own butt, not able to take anything seriously, and another is supposedly an unemotional work-aholic. But somehow, with the writing, this story works. It is always going to new heights, it brings us characters who are believable, surprising in their humour and their depths, lovely scenes, hot scenes, funny scenes, and an all around superb story.
Endurance will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions from laughing out loud at witty banter, to swooning at Tanner Deep Talk, it'll leave you to dry your tears while dealing with the feelings and have you coming back for a second ride.
Usually, I'm not a big fan of enemies-to-lovers stories, but this one TOTALLY worked for me. The hero and heroine met in the previous book, and it was obvious the author was setting them up for each other. I was surprised to read in the blurb that Belle had been rejected, and she now hated him. So I kinda groaned and drove into the story, expecting not to enjoy it much.
It turns out Tanner had a good reason for rejecting her. Though, I think he actually should have told her why instead of just blowing her off. Actually, most of his behavior and attitude (especially towards women) in the beginning, I didn't like. Thank goodness as soon as he and Belle started fake dating, and she rightfully demanded that he be monogamous, his attitude started to change.
They started to bang pretty early, about 30% in. Because of this, there's numerous sex scenes. Not that I'm complaining! Ms. Daws sex scenes are very well written, different every time, and super spicy! They can be long or short and still sizzle! I'd say there's at least five scenes, which I usually find tedious, but it totally worked in this story.
I loved how equally matched Tanner and Belle were. She was an incredibly talented baby surgeon who was wicked smart. Tanner started out as quite the douche canoe, but when put toe to toe against Belle, he became a better man. More thoughtful, considerate, and open. He desired to put more goodness into the world and help more people. He had these ideas before they got together, but she motivated him to put that goodness into action. It wasn't even her verbally motivating him; it was just who she was as a woman, surgeon, and saver of lives.
I even enjoyed all their fights. They never let the other get away with anything. Once they decided to actually be together, I was SO GLAD to see them stay together the rest of the book and not break up over a misunderstanding or trivial insecurities. Their fights always made sense and always ended with peace. Or sex 😜.
I also loved that Tanner loved her crazy and told her so. And that he loved her thicker, fuller body. It was awesome!
So seriously, A+, superior quality story telling from Ms. Daws!
Belle and Tanner have been at each other's throats from the start. Tanner is not interested in commitment. Belle is single and ready to mingle, but she's not interested in being just another notch in his belt. However, he once rejected her. He had his reasons, but she hasn't forgotten about it. And he hasn't forgotten about her either.
When Tanner messes up, Belle shows up to help, without realizing what she's getting herself into. Turns out she was photographed with him, and the media are turning it into a circus. The result? They need to fake a relationship for a while until it all calms down. Easy-peasy, if they weren't so keen on epically arguing with each other.
Of course, they catch feelings. It’s there in all the small moments. But it isn't easy for them to give up on being their own independent, stubborn selves, and learning to let go of what's holding them back. There's a bond between them that they couldn't have with anyone else. Yes, they argue, and it's both steamy and fun, but it's, first and foremost, so very ‘them’.
Endurance: the ability to withstand hardship and adversity. They both had that. They both withstood it. Now the only thing they need to 'endure' is their love for each other.

Dr Belle Ryan is an neonatal surgeon who Tanner turned down and treated as off-limits once his brother started dating her best friend. Belle took it as an outright rejection, so she’s not happy with him. Belle describes Tanner as:
“a knobhead spunk bubble who runs around like a dog with two dicks.” Lol! I can already feel the tension is going to be sky high.
And it continued throughout. I really enjoyed the the relationship between these pair. The constant back and forth kept the pages turning. One minute they’re arguing, the next they’re engaging in tonsil hockey and much more.
However, there was a lot more to their relationship and boy, the reader is dragged along for the rollercoaster ride of this book. They both struggle with commitment and we get to see them change as they recognise their feelings for each other morph and grow.
But as in Book 1, it’s the heroine rather then the hero who finds it hard to take that big leap and really put their happiness in someone else’s hands. Like Indie in book 1, Belle was raised as part of a controlling, rather than loving, family and she doesn’t think she has what it takes to be part of a family like the Harris’s who are involved in each other’s business and support each other no matter what.
This was a really enjoyable read with multi-dimensional characters who have you routing for them from page one. The humour is great, the secondary characters are equally fleshed out and interesting, and the heat levels are super steamy.

Tanner is wild and reckless, he loves having sex and moves from one woman to the next, consequences be damned. However, this time it’s landed him outside on the street in his birthday suite, no phone, money or way to get home. He meets a homeless man who lets him use his phone. Tanner rings Indie, Camden’s girlfriend to ask for a lift home, unfortunately for him Belle answers. Belle hates Tanner as he rejected her once a few months back and she’s not got over it. She goes to collect him and to her surprise he’s naked! She can’t keep her eyes of him. They argue as they always do but he manages to convince her to take him home, well back to hers as he’s got no keys to get into his. Things get complicated when they’re photographed together and it’s not good for either of their images. She’s a surgeon and he’s a professional footballer, who’s been photographed one to many times recently in compromising positions. So Tanner comes up with a plan, that with Belles help should help fix his reputation. Problem is they need to stop fighting long enough to make it work. Loved the banter between both Tanner and Belle. They’re brilliant together.

So first up is Tanner Harris. He's Cam's twin & one of four Harris Brothers. Like them he is a Professional Football player (soccer for you silly foreigners) but to say he is the male tart of the family would be totally on the money lol. As eye candy, damn this man has it all going on & he knows it . He is cocky, brash, roguish & for me, utterly adorable. He is oh so reckless & the positions he manages to find himself in are just way too funny for words.
But.. and this is important so listen up. He is also super caring, loyal & sooo protective. His love for his family is profound & even though he can't seem to stop his man bits making the decisions for him, the one thing he really hates is how much he lets his family down. He reminds me of Peter Pan, never destined to grow up & more than a bit of a lost boy. He has a pure heart, fire in his blood & a bucket load of passion.. Seriously, this man owned me with just his devilishly dirty mouth *fans self*
Now we have Dr Belle Ryan, Indies bestie & an all round 'grab life by the coconuts' sorta girl. She is the only daughter to a powerful family, but I loved how she pushed constantly against the tide of their expectations, no matter the fall out. She is gorgeous inside & out & gawd I loved her fiery as hell personality. This girl has one smart sassy mouth & takes no prisoners in owning what falls from her lips. However, what I loved even more was the vulnerability she tries her hardest to hide, because when you look past her confident larger than life persona, I saw a scared girl who was afraid to love or be loved.
From beginning to end their epic journey had me hooked. I didn't realise just how much I needed their crazy in my life until I was knee deep in it, holding my sides, spraying tea from my mouth & laughing uncontrollably at some of the one liners Amy dropped in like a wrecking ball. This pair were like oil & water in so many ways & their banter was magical. As the power shifted between them in their battle to stay in control of their 'situation' they both managed to take crazy to a whole new level & it was like fireworks on the Fourth of July!!! (Seen these on TV)
Amy's dual POV & character development was fabulous. The way she brought this wild crazy pair together, and allowed me to not only see inside their hearts, but to also understand their fears & witness their capacity to love with all they were, was exceptional. Even through the laughter & happy tears, my heart ached a whole lot & my emotions ran riot, but never once did I feel empty. They consumed me completely - like deep in my bones & come the end.. well I was still laughing & grinning like a fool. You just can't beat that feeling, when a story leaves you full to bursting with goodness & happiness because you shared something special within its pages.
I'm happy sighing when I say I think it speaks volumes when you finish a book , but you know wholeheartedly that you never wanted it to end. I feel their entire lifetime would be something I'd want to read & never get tired of. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll see them again..

Belle, Indie's flatmate knows that Indie has had a tough day at work, so after leaving Tanner to sweat for a while, goes to his rescue. Tanner is happy to be rescued but not expecting that to be by Belle.
The next day all hell breaks out as Tanner's antics had been photographed with Belle to the rescue, but photos can tell a different story - it puts both of them in a compromised position. Tanner has a plan that he thinks might just save the day, but will Belle agree?
Crazy situation, even crazier idea but a lot of laughs along the way. Loved it!

Enemies to lovers/fake romance are common in romances so to make a story different it needs that something else and this didn't have it for me. It had the usual wealthy, attractive, promiscuous, high profile man and wealthy, attractive, fairly promiscuous woman. They quarrel, have sex, quarrel, have sex etc. It's true love. The only interesting parts related to Belle's work and those didn't seem to fit with the tone of the rest of the story.
