Prepare to spend several hours here...

First, the game need to be updated and you need to download a 500+ Mb patch to play it (by now). This game is very well made and is NOT a simple war game. Is a team based game with objectives that really needs co-op play to enjoy it. You will NOT find a "Deathmatch" in here...if you are looking for it, you should try Modern Warfare, or Bad Company 2 for example. The game needs an online account to play (wich is obvious) but no stupid installation limits! A little confusing the first times but if you are a regular FPS gamer you'll catch it quick.

According to the Limited Edition Bonuses, well, you get a bonus DVD with videos (just trailers), concept art, a "downloads" section that features IM avatars, ringtones, and a pack of...thigs...to make an ETQW Fan site. Also, it comes with 10 cards that look really nice featuring more concept art and info on the game vehicles and weapons.

Overall, really good game, amusing, addictive and at great price!

P.D.: I received a booklet with a calendar look that contains maps of the game...but is not in the description.

ET:QW is a great team based game. Even though it is a few years old, the gameplay mechanics are solid and is very fun. Teamwork is very important, and although it can be hard to find a well coordinated team, there are always competent bots at your disposal. I bought the game for $7 including shipping and am not disappointed. If you're looking for some quick fun and are currently bored of the current games I suggest that you pick this game up. For less than $10 it's a steal.

I purchased the Mac and PC versions at the same time and both were great (of course)! The PC version had a better full color manual (the Mac version was just a b/w copy of this color version) and also included a PDF version of a more complete version of the manual in the game directory. The Mac version REFERRED to this embedded PDF but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Since this one wasn't created by id software(the creators of Quake 1,2,and 3) it doesn't feature anything that is really ahead of its time. But this game does have fun multiplayer with cool weapons and vehicles.

I have played this game online and its a little difficult to get into initially, but once you get the hang of things, its a lot of fun.

I also like the single player a lot. Not sure how this compares to Battlefield, but by itself, its a great game.
