Are this batteries knock offs, thought I was prepared for hurricane season.

I am so angry. These batteries are suppose to have a 10 year lifespan I just purchase them in July. I thought that come hurricane season I would be ready and when I opened the box this is what I see. We are being threatened with a hurricane this week and I cant use these. I want to cry. Batteries are one of the first things that disappear from the shelves. This radio is our lifeline when our electrical system fails. In Puerto Rico we can be months without electricity so this is unacceptable. I think this are knock offs. Seriously this is bad. I just bought this in July 2018 so I can be ready for our highest hurricane season which is now in Sept. How can they be so deteriorated in a span of 2 months. They were still sealed in the pack when I opened it.

The positive end is pushed in on every single battery, therefore it doesn't reach the contact, so they don't work. I have attached a photo of the damaged Energizer battery next to a "normal" Duracell.
