I have always used energizer rechargeable batteries for my keyboard, mouse, and TiVo remote. It came time after a few years to replace the ones I had with new ones. When I got the new ones they did not hold much of a charge. Meaning they died fast with use.
I quickly noticed they where not good and tried to return to amazon. Amazon said I had to contact the manufacturer for a refund so I did and after about 15 emails from energizer they said they can’t offer me a refund because the batteries are not designed to be used with Tv remotes and Apple keyboards.

If this product is a must have for you, I would suggest a non online store because amazon says it is to dangerous for a consumer to return batteries. Which sounds like a load of bull poop to me.

These rechargeable batteries were a waste of money. They lose power capacity much more quickly than their conventional brethren. I am using these for a portable medical device that I use twice a day 20 minutes each time. I am lucky if these batteries can provide the necessary power for the device to work properly for 3 sessions. Sometimes when these batteries are fully charged there isn't enough juice for 1 session. I get the same or better results with much cheaper rechargeable batteries and far better results with non-rechargeable which can provide enough power for a week and a half's worth of 20-minute sessions (which adds up to 20 sessions) compared with 3 or 4 sessions with these. Maybe these batteries work better with other devices but I am definitely not impressed.

Not a review I wanted to write but I've received about 4 or 5 packages of bad batteries in a row. This brand used to be my go to. I am a photographer that uses a speedlight constantly and I would take several hundred photos per day with the flash and these batteries USED to do the job, and then seem to take about a MILLION recharges and perform flawlessly before I finally had to replace them.

Now? I can't power my computer's MOUSE on a fully charged battery that I used for less than a month. They are absolutely worthless to me. One bad package? I can take it. It's been several in a row now, and I'm now going to change brands. It's not the charger, I've charged them in several different chargers I have and none of them perform like they used to, and lose their charge almost immediately even when not used. Super disappointed. And it's probably just bad luck and other people are getting batteries like I used to get but I just can't deal with 4 or 5 bad packs in a row now, I rely on these things for a job and I can't trust them anymore.

Since 2010 we have been using only these to power our devices. These, recharged by nuclear powered hamsters on tiny, yet appropriately-sized, excercise bikes. Sometimes we rent them out to do stunts in shitty Kia commercials. So when they are filming, it’s JUST the batteries, and we have had no issues. Except for the glowing hamster skat. That’s outta control. Had to start wearing sunglasses to bed, and my neighbors paid to tint my windows... on the inside. You get accustomed to the scent - or I can no longer smell on my slow crawl towards death from fallout.

Either way, great batteries!

Pay very close attention to this listing. I searched for size AAA NIMH energizer batteries. This item came up as a 4-pack. 8-pack was listed just below the item description as a thumbnail picture, so I chose the 8-pack. What I didn't realize is that selecting the 8-Pack also changed the battery size from AAA to AA. It's to not notice an "A" disappear from the item description. So I received size AA NIMH batteries, which are of no use to me as I don't own a battery charger. I'm buying these batteries to go into device with a built in charger. So I'm out $20 and stuck with batteries I will never use. Please learn from my mistake. Of course Amazon won't accept a return on this item.

AA and AAA batteries are so expensive, I just don't know why everyone wouldn't use these rechargeable batteries. I have 4 of this same brand (Energizer) that I have used and recharged for over 10 years and still working well. My daughter, who lives with me, continues to buy regular AA and AAA batteries because so many devices require them these days but now that I have a fresh supply of rechargeables we will be recharging and reusing. Honestly, my camera lasts a very long time on these batteries and just a short time on regular ones, the ones that you just throw away. I feel like Energizer is the best brand and Amazon is the best place to get them, lightning fast delivery and perfect service.

Rechargegeable Batteries are the Way to Go

In my view, you cannot go wrong with rechargeable batteries. I have a garbage can with a battery powered lid so there is no touching involved whatsoever, which is very nice. The problem was it was going through six AA batteries very quickly. I got to where I didn't like throwing them away each time, and even new they didn't seem powerful or last very long. That all changed with these rechargeable batteries. They are much more powerful and last a lot longer than the store bought non-rechargeable batteries. I am sold on rechargeables and plan to continue to add more and other sizes as time goes on.

1.2 volt not 1.5 check your requirement s

Please note these are 1.2 volt not 1.5 volt AA batteries. Ask yourself why Walmart and Family Dollar do NOT sell rechargeable batteries. I bought 4 nonrechargeable batteries at Family Dollar for $1.00. That is a cost of ..25 cents per battery.
I bought 16 Energizer rechargeable batteries on Amazonsmile.com for $40.00 approximately. That is a cost of $2.50 per battery.

The energizer batteries after fully charging have to be recharged again after less than 3 hours of run time in my battery powered strobe lights.

But in my night lights that are motion detectors that only stay on for a few seconds when they detect motion I don't have to recharge them for weeks.

The .25 cent batteries from Family dollar that are not rechargeable are still running the strobe light that has been on 24/7 for over 80 hours.

For $40.00 I could have purchased 160 nonrechargeable batteries and ran 1 strobe light 24/7 for at least 52 weeks in my estimation.

Like a poofta I thought precharged meant fully charged. It was only 35% charged. Good thing I have a decent charger. Still for $36 it has hope.

Update #1: not the fault of the vendor/ manufacturer but these batteries are woefully inadequate for devices which recommend using lithium ion batteries.

Update #2 Does not hold a charge. I have a Nitecore charger which I use to charge my 18650 et al batteries after the charger says it is fully charged I take the batteries out of the charger and within 10-15 minutes I test the batteries using a Fluke meter. I get the message the batteries are about 75-80% charged.

To add injury to defeat you can return these batteries to Amazon.
