I have now been using 3 of these K2 LifeP04 12v 10ah batteries for 8 months, I am still amazed, I have been using power packs in a portable strobe (Photographer)fashion for 30 years, but I've always accepted the fact of; "The more power I need for a location shoot, the more lead or NI-Cad super heavy batteries would be on my back", Not Any More!! My 10 Lb. Battery is now 3 Lbs!! And they hold a full charge 400% longer, so no more battery always on the trickle charger. These batteries also charge for me in half the time, but that's with a new charger, if time is not critical then using your existing charger works as well.

Remember the "E" battery (the only one for photo power packs, Hensel Porty Premium, Elinchrom Ranger RX,Broncolor mobil, Profoto B1, B2 or B3 portable strobe packs)does not have the restrictive circuit board built in, so this is great for high AMP drawing devices. If you have a bike or cart then go for the "EB" for added protection from everything about charger protection to output protection, but again the "EB" at the end of the battery model number is not for super high power drawing equipment like Portable Strobe Packs from 600watt seconds to 2400ws.

So now my carry bag has 3 batteries, it was 30 Lbs., but now only 10 Lbs.!!!

I bought this, because I had to replace an SLA Battery of the same size in a ride-on toy, I was looking for a more durable alternative to lead acid. I was a little worried about whether this battery could handle the high current drawn by the ride-on toy.
Surprisingly this battery has not only higher capacity but also provides noticeably more power (current) than the 7.5Ah SLA battery it replaces.
In summary this battery made the toy car lighter and a bit quicker.

UPDATE: I wrote this review two years ago and the same battery is still going strong, despite being used regularly and having been drained completely at least twice.... this battery is so much better than SLA, in all respects.

This thing is quite expensive but the current capabilities which are actually 9.6aH instead of 10aH as advertised! But if you need to lose some weight and not have to have a special lithium charger this is the one to have. I'm surprised every time I pick it up and see how light it actually is compared to before with an SLA battery.
