Written at a very readable level; any smart high school student could grasp the concepts. I enjoyed reading it (BSPhysics&MSEE) and wish I had read this book early in my career. Explains energy at very basic levels and then gives formulae to show how to calculate scenarios. I am a believer in that so many textbooks start throwing formulae at students with no explanation of the basic concepts behind the formulae. If one grasps the concept, the formulae make sense, otherwise the student finds himself just memorizing formulae and cranking out numbers. Also contains a lot of interesting facts about energy usage, etc.
