I've just ordered this calendar for the 4th or 5th year. It has month at a glance where I keep birthdays and other important dates recorded. Between the monthly pages, there are weekly pages with room for 5 family members to write their weekly schedule. Each day has enough space to record multiple daily events: Parent coffee 8:30, focus group 10-12, dinner with Debby 7p -- all would fit in one day. I highly recommend this calendar.

I have used this calendar for several years and love it. Mary Engelbreit's artwork is just so joyful and whimsical, and I especially like the weekly motivational thoughts that always seem to hit home, no matter what is going on in my life. But the organizational aspect is what is really helpful. There are 5 rows which can be labeled for 5 family members, or in my case, my personal life, work schedule, and pet appointments. I've found it very helpful, with 5 rescued animals, to keep track of when they saw the vet, had lab work, started a prescription, took their heartworm pills, tried a new food and didn't like it, and more. I was a caregiver for my mom who had lots of appointments, and she easily took up another row. Rows could also be used to track volunteer/community work, expenses for taxes or work, or household information: repairs, service calls, paint colors, and gardening information. So you don't have to be managing a family to make this calendar work for you. And it's important to me that there is plenty of space to write in an appointment, phone number, location, and any other details I need.

The reason the calendar got 4 stars instead of 5 may be minor issues to others. The first row is labeled "Mom," which is great if you are a mom, but otherwise you have to somehow write over it. I have a labeling machine, so I can label over it, but it's a weekly calendar, so I have to do it 52 times. Also, the color distinction between the rows is not great enough for me (or senior eyes), so I draw lines between the rows which is a little bit of work. So those are suggestions to the publisher (hint!), but the functionality of the calendar is worth the extra effort.

This is a great calendar. I administer my family's calendars electronically on GCal (Google Calendar), but then each week, I enter the info on my "Moms Can Do Anything" calendar. It only takes 5 minutes, and it is a great time to connect with our week, making sure we haven't over-scheduled. My kids (10, 9, 6) always refer to it, and find it easy to read. The quotes are sweet, and sometimes actually give me inspiration...seriously. I have bought this calendar 3 years in a row, and will probably do it again next year.

My mother loves to keep track of what everyone is doing and this calendar is perfect for it. It has pages for monthly and weekly tracking so my mom knows what's going on with who.

I love this week by week format. Instead of listing each family member on a line, I use a different color pen for each and use each section as a part of the day. Works great!

I buy this calendar every year! There's plenty of room to write everyone's schedule and the quotes and pictures are great! This is the best "Mom's Calendar" ever!
