Very consistent at making crimps. Silicone grips feel interesting in the hand, but are comfortable and semi-soft (almost too soft).

I can tell this tool is from a different tool culture than here in America (Japanese brand), but I can also tell that it's very high quality - you can't really make a set of hand crimpers better than this if you tried. No corners cut, anywhere. I certainly paid for that quality, but when you want your work to be reliable, you have to get quality tools.

I usually wait before writing a review but I needed these Crimping pliers right away and my experience was so excellent, I decided to post about it right away. I am using JST XH connectors with small pins. These Crimping Pliers do a fantastic job of crimping the pins. This tool is the way to go and it is far cheaper than the manufacturer's solution. I highly recommend these Crimping Pliers for small pins. They are well worth the money.

The answer to anyone with multiple types of JST connectors, I bought this one and the PA-09. Between the two, I have most of the small connectors I use covered. I couldn't afford $400+ for crimpers for one type of contact, these do a number of them in a single tool. A little more care is required, but I can afford to spend a little more time for the difference in price!

While these crimping pliers are a precision tool that works well they do not offer the capacity range of other crimping pliers offered by Molex 63811-1000.
Due to the range limitation these pliers would not crimp the insulation sleeve whereas the Molex handled it easily.

I needed a pair of these to finish off some custom wiring (used micro JST connectors) I was doing for a LED project on my Vorza. These worked great. There's a youtube video that shows how to use these. After watching it, doing a crimp job using these was very easy and the results are professional.

I would HIGHLY recommend these over needle nose pliers any day of the week! :)

Not your average stamped metal toy. Dies are machined and hardened after stamping so the result is precise and look like it will last.
