This is an original 1890 black and white wood engraving (Photoxylograph) of an interior portion of the second ancient Roman public bathing complex at the Campus Martius in Baiae, Rome, Italy as visible from the ocean. These baths were named after its architect Nero. Please note that there is printing on the reverse.
