It is rare to find an anthology in bioethics with such a range of high-quality articles, many of them previously unpublished. Standout essays include Powell and Buchanan's "Breaking Evolution's Chains" and Temkin's "Is Living Longer Living Better?" Highly recommended for scholars working in the area, bioethics teachers looking for material for their classes, and biologists interested in the moral implications of biomedical enhancement.
