But, when I opened the outside box and looked inside I found wadded up paper (to protect the packages, i assumed) I removed the paper and found a very curious item in the box. After examining it, I opened it. I found a "cooler" ofof sorts inside! I opened it, it was made of a cotton like substance, and found a cool gel pack. Under the gel pack, I found 6 perfect bags of Enjoy Life dark chocolate. They were cool and not one one single bag had ANY lumps of melted chocolate in it! I was in awe and completely surprised and most definitely delighted to find my chocolate in tha condition. I am extremely pleased with the way my items were handled and the cate that was shown during packaging up the box for delivery. I will continue to purchase from Enjoy Life. If I ever need anything that Enjoy Life produces, I will always keep them as my first choice. If anyone ever asks for any recommendations, I will happily recommend Enjoy Life. Over $50 was wasted because the package arrived all gooey and melted, and it is not returnable or refundable. Do not order this during the summer! This is the fifth time I have ordered the chocolate chips. I love them. They bake well and obviously melt well and taste good. The allergy-friendly ingredients list allows my grandchildren and their friends to have treats just like children without allergies. A better way to address problems is needed. I hope the company reads this and finds a remedy. There was not even a way to contact them. I guess I will be chipping away at the solid block rather than having the convenience of the perfectly sized chips.

Not sure why, but when I used them in cookies, they turned hard and crunchy after coming out of the oven, instead of softening like traditional baking chips. To be clear, if I was to rate the product only, it's a 5 start hands down. These choc. chips are amazing.

However, anyone considering this product should know that although the title says "Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Gluten, Dairy, nut & Soy Free, Mini Chips, 10-Ounce Bags (PACK OF 6)", when ordering only 1 pack (not 6 as the title indicates) is provided.

When I inquired with Amazon as to where the remaining 5 packs were, I was told there were no more in stock and I was refunded the money. However a quick check online shows that Amazon is still selling this product as in stock and the title remains the same.

Buyer Beware.

I found these chips very bitter compared to buying the ones in the blue enjoy individual packages. I've had two reactions to the ones in the 2268g bag. So disappointed. Not sure it is allergen free. No reaction to the chips previously bought. Will not order this size again. You can barely read the part of label that says it is free of 14 allergens. Needs larger print about these.
