While Enochian Magic for Beginners focuses on bringing the intimidating subject of Enochian magic within the reach of the novice, the book grants its subject much more than superficial treatment. Western ceremonial magician and author Donald Tyson gives a comprehensive address on the history of and a solid foundation for actually working with this fascinating system of magic. What sets Tyson's treatment apart is his examination of the original system in its entirety, as it was given to John Dee and Edward Kelley in the late 1500s by the same angels who revealed the wisdom to Enoch in Old Testament times. This is not the same form of Enochian magic practiced by Golden Dawn members, which Tyson maintains is only a fragment of the original. The author's lucid connection of the mechanics of Enochian magic with its original philosophical and spiritual significance in Enochian Magic for Beginners answers the questions of the uninitiated while still being of importance to the adept.
From the Publisher
For over a century, people have been whispering about the power of Enochian magic. Unfortunately, few people have been able to use it due to its complexity. The truth is, it's been hard to understand. Or at least it was until Donald Tyson wrote Enochian Magic for Beginners.
Now, I contend that there is no reason for magic to be incomprehensible. So I think it is fair to ask why Enochian magic has been so difficult. Mr. Tyson may have found the answer: it has been incomplete. You see, most people follow Enochian based on the Golden Dawn's method. But that group left out an entire book known as the Heptarchia Mystica. Now that important work has been restored in this book, making it the first truly comprehensive introduction to Enochian magic ever.
Magic should never stagnate. It has to evolve to meet the needs of today without abandoning the sources from the past. That's one of the reasons I think this book is really special. Within the pages of this book, Donald Tyson corrects many errors from the past and sheds new light on the previous documents. As a result, this book helps enrich the Enochian system, making it truly modern while still faithful to its sixteenth-century roots.
This is a book that will change many people's ideas about the nature of Enochian magic. Although it takes work, now everyone, including you, can practice the most powerful magic available. And if you are already studying or practicing Enochian, I know this book will clear up many of the puzzling questions you have had about it.
Why is this important? Because only when you truly understand something can you can use it effectively. This book will allow you and many others to study and practice the complete system of Enochian magic.

My only caution would be to be careful. This isnt really "paperback" kind of material, and Im not sure about the wisdom of making it so public.
This book does not stand alone, however. I would suggest, at the very least, also having Causabon's "A True and Faithful Relation" and Laycock's "Enochian Dictionary" as supplimental material to use with this book. If, however, you truly wish to understand the depth and potential of Enochian magic, this book is a highly useful platform to begin from.
