About the Author
Born at the end of the Vietnam war and raised on a horse farm near small town north Georgia, his imagination evolved under the swaying pines surrounding his family's log home. On summer days that were too hot, winter days that were too cold, and every night into the wee morning hours, he read books. He lives in sunny southern California with his beautiful wife and two perfect children.

I really rarely buy books, preferring to use kindle unlimited or borrow but I paid for both 1 &2. Gave them 4 stars.
This book, however, is pointless. We spend half the book following an Annunaki general, who is not sympathetic enough to make you feel differently about the invaders. Kelly's scenes are Super informative but she's under the slave gene influence and basically rides around like a passenger in her body. The information she gets isn't worth the scenes. The info could have been obtained with Kelly passing on the info in a short convo.
This would allow the reader to enjoy a story instead of slugging through 100 pages of 'nope, still can't control my ringer"
Shane whines the entire book (So does Kelly but she's a prisoner in her own body so she's entitled to it). Shane's pouting in this book is beyond annoying. His back and forth about being the leader in book 1 and 2 is understandable. His behavior in this book is confusing. And annoying.
Shane knows, verbatim, what the invaders are going to say to humans "we didn't attack you, our enemies did. We're going to help you clean up your planet and get revenge" and yet he STILL falls for it enough to make him doubt the rebels. Which would be fine, suspicion is healthy, if he didn't flip flop over and over and over again. At some point he needs to make a decision, right or wrong, and live with it. He's 16, not 6.
You could literally stick a handful scenes from this book into book 4 and know all things that were actually important.
If you want to skip the book and know the important stuff, I'll post it below. I really hope someone posts once they've read book 4. If it's another like this I'd want to know before I pay for the stupid thing.
I really hope book 4 is the last, that there's an ending.
Kelly, Jules and the Australians are stuck on the remain ship, which is in orbit of earth. Their earbuds are turned off, preventing the Annunaki from knowing they're the attackers. This causes them to fall under the slave gene's control. Kelly is aware of what's happening but cannot act. Thanks to the of rebels, Kelly has a "slave version" persona that is separated from real Kelly's memories and emotions. The Annunaki have some selves fight to test that they're now fully under control, the Jules and Kelly are ordered to kill Liam. They do.
Shane's teams is alive. Laura lives, Maurice too. The alien from the last book makes Shane doubt the rebels. She says the Annunaki aren't enslaving anyone, it's a temporary measure and the aliens regret ever enslaving people. Based on Kelly's experience this alien is lying to Shane. Shane and Co take a sub back to the US . Shane pouts, demoralizing his people. The rebels have a way to link Shane to Kelly and Tracy to Jules in their dreams. Shane pouts more because the tea, did it without his permission, which is the only way it could work. He then does the same thing to Tracy who has a bad reaction. This allows slave Jules access to some of Real Jules memories. Shane pouts more and gets a kid killed b/c he still doesn't trust Jones. Shane is hyper critical of Jones, says he likes killing and attacks Jones a few times before they make it home.
The Aliens have new tech that triggers the slave gene w/o a ship. It's never been used, but since only 1 ship survived the assault, the alien decide to try to use the new tech. A human has to be in charge of the humans enslaved this way. Kelly, Jules and the Australian team, still controlled, are tasked w/this. the new method is used successfully to trigger the slave gene in the unstable kids while in Atlanta. Kelly, the new slaves and her team are sent out to infect the eastern seaboard. Slave Kelly is drawn toward the general location of the rebel base after accessing Kelly's memories.
Shane and co make it back to the base. The base is being attacked by Kids controlled by the new slave gene tech. Kelly, Jules and the Australians are there as command. Enslaved Kelly shoots the slave gene trigger into Shane and her sister. As this happens a magical floating green alien, who just destroyed the Annunaki home planet, descends. New Alien negates the mind control everywhere, disables the Annunaki ships and restores sanity to the crazy kids.
New Alien declares that Annunaki are to be eradicated for their crimes against humans and the other aliens they've enslaved. New Alien then says that humanity gets to pick the punishment. New Alien says that b/c humans are part Annunaki the humans will be judged by the punishment they chose for the Annunaki.
Everyone is reunited as the Annunaki ship is returned from orbit back to earth. Kelly tries to kill her Annunaki commander. Shane and Maurice ask everyone to wait on killing the Annunaki's until everyone has had a chance to thing since humanity will be judged for their actions against the Annunaki. Kelly is sedated.
