What drew me into this story was the strong character of the heroine and all that she went through in her life. I loved how she cared for Jonathon and the both healed each other. Drew PISSED me off and Alex angered me. I want to see Jonathon get the family he wants but I am worried for rachel. A lot of the story was glazed over and moved by and then BAM the twist at the end!!!!!

Enticed (Fullerton Family Saga, #1)
by Ginger Voight

Four 1/2 Stars!

I certainly did not realize what an emotional ride that this book was going to take me on!

Rachel is an excellent teacher. She has settled into her role as an educator and has always placed her students needs at the top of the list. She has received much recognition for her efforts. She has also been stricken with terrible tragedy in the her past and has always dreamed of a fresh start.
She receives a welcome email that gives her an offer that seems to good to be true. She has been offered to leave Texas and move to Beverly Hills to become the private tutor to a nine year old boy.
Jonathan Fullerton has developed a very bad outlook on life since his parents very messy high profile divorce. He is a beautiful, smart boy that has now become the ultimate prize in his parents custody battle.
Drew Fullerton, Jonathan's father just so happens to be one of the worlds most eligible bachelors. Rachel does not find this the least bit appealing. She is there to teach and mentor this little boy.
Drew's brother Alex feels that a boy belongs with his mother and thinks that Drew had hidden motives for hiring Rachel. He begins to feel that Rachel may be in on the plan and they soon become rivals.
The more Alex tries to sway Rachel's opinion and feelings toward Drew and his motives, the closer that pushes her to Drew. Rachel has always had Jonathan's best interest at heart. She has decided she will do whatever she deems necessary to achieve his happiness and success.
This daily struggle between Drew, Rachel and Alex results in a strange triangle of emotions, deceit and ultimate power. These two brothers can not be more different.

It's mentioned, but not very prominently, that this is a cliffhanger, but I sure didn't see that. I was extremely angry that I paid for this book just to find out that it's a completely incomplete story. It's Act 1, at best, and really not something you can read as a stand alone at all. Why would the author not just wait until she completed the story and then release a complete book and price accordingly? Oh, I don't know, this allows her to make it look like she has sold more books. I admit, I had high hopes for this author and thought I'd end up buying more of her titles, but this deceptive bait and switch has annoyed me so much that I'm returning this title and never buying anything of hers again. Way to alienate potential fans.

I love this book. Rachel Dennehy is a teacher who has built a nice little life but lives with a sadness that will never go away. Out of the blue, she receives an email with an amazing job offer to move to Beverly Hills to be the live-in tutor for Jonathon Fullerton, a troubled child. After meeting Jonathon, who touches her heart, she accepts the position in hopes she can help a sweet boy and find a new start for herself. Jonathon's father, Drew, is devastatingly handsome and wealthy, which hasn't escaped Rachel's notice, but she wouldn't think of pursuing her employer. Drew's brother, Alex, is convinced that she's a gold digger, out to snag a rich husband, and does his best to chase her off. Life becomes complicated as her attraction to Drew grows and Alex's efforts to get rid of her gain ground. Rachel's fondness for Jonathon and desire to help him make distancing herself from the Fullertons difficult. The character development in this book is great, I liked Rachel immediately, then got to know her personal details and issues gradually. She's a warm, kind person, who gave the book a lot of heart. The story unfolded at the perfect pace, I was into it from beginning to end and couldn't wait to read the next book in the Fullerton Family Saga Series.

Didn't finish. As in the first two in the series. Slow, predictable, poor dialogue progressions...too much oh no she didn't say that? Yes, she did. You're kidding. No I'm not. Blah blah blah type of dialogue. Cut, edit, delete. You don't need to have every single boring back and forth conversions people might have. Make it snappy, only include what's important. This was just too distracting. I just couldn't read it anymore. It was literally painful.
I never write these kinds if reviews but I'm hoping the honest feedback will improve future projects for Ms. Voight.

Love this book. When I read the book description, I thought it was going to be another book about a broken girl who falls for the strong alpha male she meets. However, it was so much more. The development of the story kept you wanting more not to mention that you didn't know who you to believe was telling the truth. As you are reading through the story, you start to feel excited for Rachel because Drew has fallen for her and then everything gets pulled out from under her and your heart breaks for her. The ending was perfect for a cliff hanger. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
