I keep reading these because I got sucked in by the first few being free. Now, I keep reading them because I want to find out how it ends and have the massive blanks filled in. Or because I enjoy torturing myself with bad writing and weird plotlines. I can't decide which. And now there's more??!!?! But, I will probably read it, because apparently I'm a literary sadist.

The bittersweet ending to the trilogy. Even though I rooted the entire time for the opposite team (like always) he still didn't win. While my heart was with one it managed to find its way into an others.... again. I can totally see why it turned out the way it did and even I have to admit the better man won, but I still had hope. I guess I'm just a sucker for a good love story.

Laken goes through so much in this last book. She grows a lot and finally finds herself, her true self. Coop is the same, always willing to swoop through and be heroic. Wesley however, changes everything in the blink of any eye. He turns himself around and fights hard for the woman that he will always love... I'm looking forward to attending Host with everyone in the near future!

I'd recommend this if you are a fan of paranormal or looking to delve into it. For us paranormal lovers already and just in general to everyone cause the writing is just that good!

Well like always Addison has outdone her last book. She is an amazing writer her stories stick with me months after I read them. This one will be no different. I fell in love with Laken and Cooper from the start of the series. They both have hearts the size of the universe how could I not love them? I will not get into too much so I don't give anything away but if you are wanting to know if you should get this think no more just do it! You will be pleased. If you have never read any of this series or The Celestra series you must it is unlike any other books I have read. They are fantastic. She reels you in and takes you on a fantastic ride that makes your head and heart soar.

I love Addison Moore! I love this trilogy. I hate the ending. I will not give spoilers so feel free to read on.

This is a half ending like the other series. You find out who she picks but it is eluded to be just for now. Their story continues in the new adult series. So all things Ephemeral and Paragon unite....so I can prepare for more angst. The bad guys never seem to get what's coming to them in Moore's books. Guess I have to continue to read to get my questions truly answered.....like WHY does Wes look like my Fav Oliver? We shall see.

Still love the series and I would still recommend reading....I just didn't like the ending.

Three stars, maybe three and a half.

I liked the book, I liked how it ended and the choice Laken made in the end. I also am interested to meet these characters again in Celestra Ever After. I'm glad the story is not over.

To me Laken is strong and passionate. Her whole goal is to save her family no matter what price she has to pay. Cooper is great too! He is basically the perfect boyfriend. As far as Wes is concerned I have mixed feelings. He was so far gone from the boy from Kansas that he couldn't go back even when he realized the truth. The person he was and the person he became were so different I sometimes feel like one could not have actually been the other. I like him nonetheless though.

What I didn't like was the back and forth Laken was always doing. She would go from one to the other in the same night. It got annoying. It is unrealistic to think that two guys would sit back and watch her with the other and do nothing. Also, she should respect herself enough to not be so flimsy.

Other than that, I did enjoy the series and I am looking forward for a possible connection with Skyla since Laken and Cooper are now by paragon.

I loved each and every book of this series. While reading Entropy I was realizing that she was leaving a few things open. I was like is she coming out with a spin off series. I am happy to inform you that she is: Forever After will be out early 2014. And if you are a fan of the Countenance Trilogy like myself you probably had a grin on your face when you seen that. I have to say I am so Happy with who Laken picked to be with. I was rooting for him since the start. You could feel that she was struggling with her feeling for both Wes and Coop. And you can tell that they both loved her too, so it made it that much hared for her to choose. Let me tell you the best man wins :) I was so happy that at the end of Evanescent Wes got his memory back. I though he was going to be totally different but he was the same old Wes. The Counts still had him by the balls. All in all this was a great read. And I will be checking out all her other books if they are as amazing as this. I definitely became a fan of Addison Moore after this series. Great job!!!

This really is a good story, and the further you get into the series, the better it gets, but it's a bit hard to read. I know it says it's been edited, but it really needs gone over again. There are commas out of place, possessives where plurals are supposed to be, and so many run on sentences. It's maddening. I almost didn't finish but decided I wanted to give the story a chance, even with all the mistakes. Heck, I almost want to fix them all and send a corrected copy to the author for free. She shouldn't have had to pay for such an incompetent job.
The story, though, is good. I've just finished all three books in this series, and though I'm a bit miffed at paying so much for practically unedited books, I truly did enjoy the story itself. I can't say it's recommend it to another grammar nerd like myself, but if you can look past that and want an interesting and fun read, then grab them up. You'll want the other books if you make it through the first one.
