I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book from I finished Karma. I have been on pins and needles waiting to hear where KT was going to take us this time.
I loved the way this story was multiple POV, it was great getting an insight into their minds and seeing how things were panning out.
I loved Natasha in Karma and I have to say I loved her even more in this one. She has endured so much at the hands of the Devils and to be honest I don't know how she could still see the good in life. Her strength was astounding. The relationships she has formed with the Kings were so heartwarming, it was lovely how they welcomed her in like she was a member of their family!
What can I say about Devlin? I don't really know where to begin. I would have liked to see his transformation from player to settled down a little more! We didn't really get to see much of that side of him and I would have loved a little ex drama but other than that the man was a hottie. He was totally alpha and I really liked him.
I really enjoyed hearing the continuation from where Karma left off! There are a few twists and turns to keep us on our toes.
I really hope there is more from this group of characters!! I'm hoping Elise and Bomber get a story next and of course Drew and Baby need their own stories!!
Thank you for the chance to review!
Lauren and Grim are still in their love bubble and are taking all the good natured teasing in stride. Natasha is living with Lauren & Grim, needing to stay close to her BFF. As Natasha takes inventory of her life, she determines that it's time to make plans for her future. She wants to find a way to use her education to find a career that she enjoys. Surprisingly, it's Devlin, Grim's brother that makes a suggestion that gets her excited about the possibilities. And...um...that's not the only thing about Devlin that's exciting (wink-wink).
Devlin is one of the Prez's sons. He has a responsibility to the club that he takes very seriously. He's had his eye on Natasha from the beginning, but has kept his distance, out of respect. He has seen the after effects of the torture she suffered at the hands of the Devils, and he's being very careful to give her space. But, he wants more...
Just when things are going smoothly, evil makes it's presence known. Isn't that how it always happens? While one of their enemies was eliminated, more keep coming. Will they ever be safe? And as if they didn't have enough to deal with, now the girls feel responsible for bringing their problems to the club. But family is family and their shared enemies must be dealt with. Or will their enemies get the upper hand...again? It seems that club secrets are not as secret as they should be. Where is the danger coming from? Who can they trust?
