I have been purchasing these IP6 and inositol (240 capsules) for over 2 1/2 years for my cat, who has a sinus tumor. He was given 6 - 8 months to live, but he's still functioning normally after 2+ years - and I believe the tumor has shrunk. I attribute this to the IP6 and inositol which I give him daily.
I remove the powder from the capsules, mix it with water, and give to the cat via a syringe. This has worked well, until my latest purchase of Nature’s Way IP6 and inositol capsules. The latest batch is not water soluble. The powder clumps and floats on top of the water,. No matter how much I stir it, it does not mix in. I cannot draw it into the syringe, because of the clumps.
My previous purchase was “BATCH 20124970 EXP 03/31/23.” The powder in this batch of IP6 and inositol mixed easily with water as it has in the past. My most recent purchase, “BATCH 20128765 EXP 07/31/23” is not water soluble. Apparently the formula was changed. I emailed Nature's Way requesting an explanation, but the contact form on the website does not give an indication if the email was submitted successfully or not.
As it is, this product is useless to me. I’m going to have to discard the entire bottle and try purchasing a water soluble inositol that is produced by a different manufacturer.
