A really fun way to learn about history - women's history!
This is a really great book. Like the author points out, we spend a lot of time focused on today and on the future, while there are so many things to be learned from the past!What I like most about this book is that it is written in a way that is relatable for kids. For example, there are a couple of pages dedicated to the story of how Harry Potter came to be. It's easy (especially as a kid) to just take things like this at face value, but there is a lesson to be learned. This book does a really great job at "teaching lessons" while keeping things fun! Also great that it highlights extraordinary women that are not discussed nearly enough. I highly recommend.

I think this book is great value for money. It's a chunky book, with over 141 pages. It's really nicely presented on the pages. Each story about a famous woman is generally 2-3 pages, which is a nice length to hold the interest of kids, and give enough information to help them learn. It contains lots of relevant cartoony images which helps with interest and makes it entertaining and enjoyable to look at too. There's a great selection of women from all over the world, and all walks of life, including: rulers, activists, explorers, scientists, businesspeople, nurses, doctors, poets, artists, writers, celebrites, and athletes. It's incredibly diverse and great for challenging stereotypes. Would be a great book for school libraries. Highly recommended!
