I had two huge problems with this unit. First, about every 1/3 attempt to print while the printer was cold (i.e., hadn't been used recently) would cause a bug where the screen would turn on and the printer would make noises like it was going to print, but would simply sit processing indefinitely. None of the buttons, even the power button, had any effect, and this would last until I manually pulled the power cord for a hard reset. Like I said, just about about every 1/3 print.
The second problem is more than just a bug. Ink usage on these things is absolutely atrocious. Just about every inkjet printer I've ever had has been bad with this; most of us know what we're getting into. But this unit takes the prize, this is borderline criminal. What irks me the most is that I rarely, if ever, print color photos, and I still am forced to change the color cartridges just as often as the black. I'm on my third full set of cartridges right now, and the printer just recently told me the magenta is empty. I am struggling to recall even a single color picture I've printed on this thing since my last cartridge replacement; why on earth is this necessary?
You're given no option to avert this by only printing in black and white. Apparently these units use small amounts of color ink, even in black and white prints, to keep the nozzles working or something. So you're buying colors regardless. And when they run out, you're unable to even print black and white until you change them. Yes, I currently need a new magenta cartridge, and am unable to print B&W until I do this. I've made the decision this time that I'm not buying one. I'm done with the absolute racket that is ink supply for these things.

Tonight, for instance, I have to print again and again, cleaning after cleaning, resetting the cartridges over and over again, just to get a clean black and white print but am still getting horizontal skipping on my document. After 6 tries you know the message I receive? Cyan toner needs to be replaced. That is very interesting Epson. I am printing in black and white just fine, but after enough FAILED attempts at getting a single clean print (which you would think a printer would be able to do) your insult to plastic, metal, and software says that it is out of cyan toner. Last I checked, cyan toner is not needed to print black and white.
I could not be more done with this garbage printer from a garbage company. No single human deserves the pain and suffering that I have had to deal with while using this disgrace to everything good in this world.
Thank you for literally a year of sunken cost. Enjoy the money you stole from me under the guise of offering a product or service that was ever ready to be sold. For the good of the world, have the last step of the assembly line be dumping the printer into a landfill.

Really delivers laser-like printing quality, at least I cannot tell the difference. Besides, it is affordable and it has all the functions you'll need (including 2-sided print).
Set-up is easy. Photo print quality is good. Wireless print and scan is fast and more convenient than I thought. You have many options: using phone/laptop/google drive/dropbox/email to print or receive scanned files wirelessly.
It meets all my needs!
