I had to come back & tell my story .. & if it helps one person then telling my story was worth it,, first let me say that I know certain medicine & supplements work well for some people & not so well for others .. Equilibrium is one that works very well for me & I well use it for the rest of my life .. My Story- Approx a month and a half I ago after taking a Antibiotic for a infection in my mouth . I developed a very bad yeast infection in my vagina and bad yeast in my bladder .. I started with a kidney infection .. cleared it up with raw no sugar cranberry juice .. then I developed several times a UTI .also used raw no sugar cranberry juice . still bad yeast infection it was so bad it burned like crazy and no creams would help it .. only think that helped a little was baking soda .. but I know that a yeast infection in the vagina you can't treat it thru the vagina you have to treat the real issue and that's the bladder .. but the backing soda helped relieve symptoms .. I took a very popular probiotic for vagina care .. I took 3 & a1/2 bottles and it did squate.. I also need. To mention I hadn't taking Equilibrium for a few months ,,,it just sat on my kitchen counter .. yesterday I had another Doc apt for this crap .. but b4 I left I took a Equilibrium.. on a empty stomach .. I thought it prob make my tummy hurt .. taking it on a empty stomach .. but it did not hurt at all & I noticed when I was taking to the Doc that I was starting to slowly feel better down there .. so when I got home .. I took a couple more & I took another high strain count probiotic with the Equilibrium.. well I'm shocked that this entire time I had sitting on my kitchen counter the supplement that was to be my vagina/ bladder cure .. I hope this review will help a woman or man that is having Bladder / vagina issues with yeast / bacteria .. my writing a review will be worth writing .. cuz I'm not one that's into writing reviews .. I also need to mention .. that popular probiotic I was taking for the vagina / bladder care .. & it didn't help with my latest issues .. I won't be buying it any longer .. Equilibrium has very much proven to me that it can take care of my bladder & vagina .. :-)

Update April 2022: It appears this product is having some supply chain issues because its availability is spotty ... available one day and not the next ... with no date for when its going to be back in stock.
I also have not noticed any substantial effects - so I am going to look for another solution. I've stopped taking these. I am also curious where these are actually manufactured ... I'll post a question.

Original Review: I suppose the 4 cotton balls stuffed in the bottle are to protect the capsules from deteriorating in transit, but it still seems like a lot for such a small bottle. Otherwise the probiotics seem ok. Waiting to see if I've boosted the diversity on the next gut test... that will be the litmus test.
A bit pricey for what it is IMO.

It's been a little over a month now, and I could not be happier with, or more grateful for, this product. I suffered from bacterial vaginosis for 4 years. This product makes no claims to help BV, but I bought it because I had a feeling it could bring back balance to my gut, and it has. I have been symptom free since the day after I started taking it. My mood, energy and mental clarity have all improved. It does seem to cause a slight histamine problem with me....I am a bit sneezy and wheezy, but I have faith that my body will reach true "equilibrium" and sort that out eventually. This product is well researched and potent. Thanks to all the brilliant scientists out there helping us to fix our microbiomes damaged by modern life.

I have this auto delivery once a month. It has helped with digestion since I had a severe bout of colitis. along with my regular meds. I no longer have the issue. It was due to a high dosage of antibiotics for a bacterial infection.My daughter bought me a more expensive one her father in law uses.... Didn't work as well so I went right back to this. the same daughter having issues after a high dose of antibiotics tried Equilibrium Probiotic and is now sold on it. One person complained about the expiration date. If you know anything about probiotics and the strains, they do not last forever. Most of the time it has to be refrigerated. Not EPS....give one bottle the chance....

I originally heard about this product on a podcast I listen to. Decided to give it a go. It is not overwhelming but it works as good as any of the well known Probiotic brands. There is not a big difference you will notice, give it a try to see if you like it. I personally think it is a great alternative to Prescript Assit if you have tried that one. Good Luck! Any Probiotic is better than no Probiotic.

These probiotics arrived with an expiration date only 1 month away, which means you have to start taking them immediately if you want to finish a bottle before they expire. It is unknown when the product was manufactured and how it was stored, which is important in case of probiotic supplements. The bottle arrived covered with a layer of dust...

I had high hopes for this product considering the number of probiotic strains it includes but sorry to say I did not feel any benefits. No positive changes in mood, digestive health, energy levels or immune health. Ironically, I had developed an infection following a dental surgery while taking this product and had to take antibiotics for the first time in many years. Obviously, probiotics did not cause the infection, but they did not help prevent it either which is one of the reasons people choose to take probiotics. I might try to order it again, just in case I got a defective product the first time around, but based on my experience so far its hard to recommend it.

I have some health issues and am generally very reactive to probiotics, I found Equilibrium had no noticeable effect on my health so I got suspicious and opened the capsules. All I can see is large flakes of flax seed (see attached image), I cannot see any powder that might contain 115 strains of freeze-dried bacteria.

Amazon have since provided me with a refund.

Great! I use it to suppress my IBS symptoms. So far is working. I have been using it now for 6 months and I experienced improved bowel movements, less sensitive gut, beautiful skin, less anxiety and helps me to maintain my healthy weight. I'm more lean and less bloated. I'm 42 and feeling really good :)
I like the name equilibrium because that's what I got out of it a whole body and mental equilibrium.
I don't always stick to the recommended 1 capsule per day often take 2. It works best if I take it in the evening so I have a great morning :)

I've only been taking these for just under a week and already I've noticed a major change in my digestion - hardly any wind, even after eating beans and other "windy" veg - and the bathroom in the morning is, how to put this delicately, a much more pleasant place to be, which is quite extraordinary. They may be expensive but boy, are they worth it. No other probiotic has had the same effect and I've tried many brands. I haven't had any mood enhancing effects yet but I'm quite a cheerful person anyway, so perhaps I won't. Highly recommended.

Have used for over a week now, and I find the potency very week. They are VERY expensive but I was sold on the 115 strains. They have not alleviated my IBS symptoms as good probiotics do. Date of manufacture is very important with probiotics as they lose their potency over time. I won't be purchasing it again.

This really seems to work - I've been taking them for five days now and I've felt a definite improvement in regularity, bloating etc. Any improvement in mood though is not yet evident, but I've always been a very positive person anyway.
Ridiculously expensive though - terribly expensive - needs to be half the price to be good value for money.
Also needs to be presented in a non-plastic container please - this could also help to reduce the cost.
