Product Features

MINI-WING COMFORT: Evolved “mini-wing” design reduces or eliminates hand pain, numb fingers, sore wrists and arm pump while supporting the hand and wrist in an ergonomically ideal position.

ERGONOMIC SHAPE: Specific grip zones match the contours of the hand for increased trail feedback, control and comfort when riding rough terrain and extended downhills.

TAPERED INNER CORE: The inner-core structure is tapered to increase damping and comfort towards the outer grip area relieving the ulnar nerve area.

INBOARD ALUMINUM CLAMP: Allows the grip angle to be adjusted for a custom fit. Can be easily readjusted as needed. Clamp eliminates twisting once tightened. Low-profile design stays out of the way to provide more gripping surface area.

REPLACEABLE BAR END PLUGS: Hard-wearing bar end plugs are replaceable in case of rough landings.

CARBON BAR COMPATIBLE: Use with all MTB handlebars including carbon bars.

Once again Ergon has built another quality product for Mountain bikers.This is the third time I have purchased Ergon grips and each time I have tried a different model. One of my bikes has a cork model the last ones on this bike where GE 1 and loved them so much I wore them out. This time I purchased the GA3 giving me a little more wrist support . Definitely a fun grip to ride with on the down hill experience.

    After 2600 miles in 2 years on a full fat 2021 giant Trance-x e mtn bike in the mountains at ski resorts, I can safely say Ergon is the Porsche of grips. You can rest on the small pads on the way up and they really show their value on the way down because you've got some padding you've got great control.

    As to getting dirty, well that's part of mountain biking. Either get the black ones, or the lighter versions just need 70% isopropyl alcohol with a rag and you'll get most of it clean. Very easy to adjust, easy to install and once you lock them down they don't move.

I rented a bike at Santos in Florida this summer that had regular grips, and my hands ached after 17 miles because I guess I'm so accustomed to the ergonomic ones.     These grips are amazing. I have small hands. As a reference, I usually shop for an XL kids gloves or XS women's gloves when I need any. The grips make it super comfortable to hold my handles and I feel like I have much better control of my bike now.
    The instructions were very clear and easy to understand for easy installation of the grips. They are labeled to determine left and right on the grips themselves so no need to remember which is which after removing them from the packaging. The thickness is perfect. I purchased the size small and they are slim enough for me to have a real grasp on the handles.
