Sturdy, high quality full sized keyboard tray, but with a few surprise drawbacks.
Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2019Verified Purchase
Overview:
So I was looking far and wide for a keyboard tray that needed to fulfill several requirements, the primary of which were full sized width (able to fit a full gaming keyboard And mouse), and be sufficient sturdy for gaming and long service. This product looked good and although a bit of a price premium over generic tray kits, decided to give it a try. Overall I am please but there were some disappointing surprises.
Size and Dimensions:
I have a Logitech G910 keyboard and G502 mouse and in terms of width I have plenty of space. However in depth it is a different story. What is not clear in any of the advertisements is how shallow the tray is front to back once you account for the integrated wrist rest in the front. How they figured this would fit a full size gaming keyboard is beyond me. Luckily for me the 910's support feet are somewhat inset and the keyboard overhanging to the rear a little isn't a problem. The tray's OVERALL dimensions are 28-1/2" Width and 9-1/4" Depth, however the Actual depth when you exclude wrist rest is only 7-3/4"... keep this in mind and make sure your keyboard will fit!
Leg room:
Your legs may hit underneath! The adjustment bracket protrudes about 2-1/2" below the bottom of the tray and the adjustment handle about 3-1/4" below the bottom of the tray. Given the other good aspects of the design I am willing to deal with this but I was very disappointed. Also consider that the extra brackets they include for installation on desks with sub-frames will further lower the tray assembly.
Quality and Install:
Overall quality is quite good. The tray has a carbon fiber like top surface and is very stiff and well finished. The mouse pad is a separate layer/fabric and covers the entire tray and has some red and white accents. Integrated wrist rest is a bit on the hard side, but it will do the job. The metal pieces and brackets for the mount bracket and adjustment "knuckle" are likewise well-built and nicely sturdy. The main track is attached to the desk with 14 aggressive thread sheet metal screws. It feels very secure and was very straight forward to install. They even included a T-handle reversible screw driver! A nice touch. You will also need a few things like tape measure, straight edge and small drill bit if you want to do a really nice install.
Is it sturdy? Yes, for sure. Is it secure? Well, yes and mostly yes. It feels very strong and has very little sag with the weight of your wrists/arms on it. However it does have a little slop in the track left and right (the same direction that it rotates for adjustment). So side to side you'll feel a loose slop then firm again and you have to push harder to actually "slew" the adjustment. The track is simply a mental rail with plastic bumpers/shims that slide. There is no ball bearing or anything fancy, so the slide in and out does not feel the most smooth or high tech, but it gets the job done. I don't have any trouble with it moving in and out when I type so I guess it has the appropriate amount of friction. There is no adjustment or lock in that regard.
In short, this tray is well-built and I do recommend it. But just make sure it will suit your needs and not be a problem with its drawbacks.

After looking for a while, this ended up being a good solution for my work/battlestation setup. I am really limited on space and needed to use the desk space for a pen display. I ended up going with a Tribal Signs computer desk as I needed something compact and very sturdy. (Over 200 lbs worth of weight on it.) Since the Eureka kit comes with the bracket risers for the drawer, it worked well to get over the cross-bar on the edges of the desk. The self-tapping screwed secured very well to it's MDF surface. Also appreciated the decent screwdriver included to get the job done. The cutout in the front riser didn't end up working out for this desk, but I don't have any issues with it being just behind. You won't get the fancy action from a human scale keyboard tray for adjustments, but you can tighten this one in place, so it's nice and sturdy, even more so than a human scale tray. Decent included mouse pad covers the entire surface, and the carbon fiber is a slick look. We'll see how it holds up but so far so good!

Short story is, old computer desk broke, decided to make sure new one had better keyboard tray. Got this one because it was from same manufacturer as the desk, installed easily as one would hope. Only knock on it is the metal on the mounting brackets (only neccesary if you don't have a nice flat & smooth underside, the Eureka desk has metal bracing supporting the 3/4" MDF top) were obviously not filed after they were cut from sheet, leaving some sharp edges. Not a deal breaker, as they are up under desk and almost completely away from where hands will go. Single knob/handle operation to adjust height/tilt. Smoothly rotates 360 and slides in/out. Overall, I'd have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the sharp edges.

Bought this for my office at work, I have a large desk that could not be move, so I had to lay on the floor to do the install. Made a template, see pic, then taped it to the underside of the desk. Drilled shallow pilot holes which worked fine with the self-taping screws. The tool provided with the product is very good, however, I recommend a cordless screwdriver and small socket set to more efficiently complete the task. The left-right swivel device seems overly tight, might add some WD 40 to see if it turns a little easier. Other reviewers noted that the directions are poor, all pictures, no words, but with some patience I was able to figure out the install and do it myself.

I will review this product over an extended period of time and will update this review either at time thresholds or when something goes wrong.
7/26/2019 - Initial review - 3.5/5 stars
I want to start off positive. The keyboard tray has many installation features and is fairly easy to install once you have pilot holes set up. The keyboard tray is also easy to adjust for primo ergonomics once installed. Also a boon is the weight capacity. I have a logitech g710+, a g502 mouse, and my hands on the tray and there is no issue. I believe that's a range from around 4 - 7 pounds, but I haven't tested the absolute weight capacity of the tray. For all this, I really like the tray.
However, now I have to criticize. However, my criticisms are mostly about the communication of this product. My selection on a keyboard tray to purchase was based on track size and weight limit. I took a gamble on this purchase as none of that info is officially stated on the page (at the time of purchase). I took a leap of faith based on review pics (with large keyboards on the tray) and what a helpful user reported. However, that user reported the track was 14 inches. When I received the product, the track was 17 inches and as a results slightly bulges from my desk. If this info is more transparent to potential buyers, I'd have no issue with this product. As it stands however, this all puts a bad taste in my mouth despite the excellent performance so far.
Also potential issues are the screws stripping during installation, but they include quite a lot of them.

Its OK. Not brilliant
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 9, 2020Verified Purchase
I am going to be keeping this. The design, so that it fits under a desk where there are bars going across works for my desk. Overall the adjustment is pretty smooth. there are plastic sliders so dont know about the longevity of them as ive only had it a week. Initial impressions are the build quality is not bad. Its easy to put together and very straight forward. Its not extremely sturdy, however. When typing (im using it right now) there is bounce when the keys are pressed. It tilts on the board left to right as well. For comparison, i had the ergotron one and the build quality of that is 100% better than this one. However, it didnt fit my desk. Ive removed the solid wrist rest, little bit pointless in my opinion. The mouse mat that this thing comes with is the worst mouse mat in the history of mouse mats. Doesnt stay put, crumples up, ridiculous graphics on it and not fit for purpose. Especially if gaming. Keeps moving about so im gonna have to replace that. Overall, for the price ill be keeping it as there isnt anything better on the market at the moment that fits my desk. If you have a flat underside of the desk then i do recommend the Ergotron one. If it lasts me a couple of years of bouncy typing then ill be happy, i guess.

I bought this to drop the keyboard and mouse down to a comfortable height. It does this perfectly and allows me to adjust the height on the fly for gaming / typing.
The tray does flex a little, which in hind site is to be expected. All things considered I'd expect more flex than there is.
The brackets that are supplied allow for a good amount of customisation for locating the tray on the EUREKA ERGONOMIC Gaming Desk 112×60 cm RGB Gaming Table with LED Light P44 Computer Desk, as the table support bars are in the centre I used the desk C, configuration for mounting.
I was also surprised by the quality of the screwdriver that was supplied.

Fantastic but wish there was something to stop your mouse from falling
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 16, 2021Verified Purchase
Works great! Needed this for my IKEA Bekant standing desk. The raised arms worked like a charm for dealing with the central bar under the desk.
Look no further.
Would have been 5 stars if a better solution had been provided for preventing your mouse from falling off when the shelf is at a negative tilt. I've had to improvise for the time being by using Blu tac as a bumper on the edge.

Doesn't fit the EUREKA ERGONOMIC Gaming Desk P44 RGB Gaming Table with LED Light 112 * 60 BLACK as the frame arrangement of this desk has not been allowed for in the design. The attached image shows the frame configuration which is similar to the option B allowed for in the tray fixing guide except that it is jit central to the table. The frame being off centre, pulls the mechanism too far back from the front of the table. This is not made clear in the product information. Images for the table show it with the keyboard tray attached. Its going back for a refund
