Edit: (May 2016 review update) (product I reviewed is not longer listed on this page): found out the clicking and hissing noise I was hearing was from my PC's integrated mic. I had the settings to high and it was set so I could listen to it. Even when it wasn't in use the feed from it was causing issue until I adjusted the settings. I rather like these headphones.

Edit (April 2016 review update): Don't even bother with installing the driver. Every OS I have tried it on has picked it up and let it be used just fine (Debian, Mint, Ubuntu, Windows 10). The microphone was reported to me as sounding acceptable. I never really use it so the detachable feature is a plus. I use it on a regular basis. I did have issues with it needing to be unplugged and reatached to the computer. I keep it in a easy to get to USB port and it hasn't been a issue. They fit will and are rather comfortable. I haven't heard the clicking noise in a long time. I think these headphones are rather ugly. I like them though and use them on a regular basis.

The product itself works as expected. The sound from it is great.

The tech support was non-existent. I contacted them through the e-mail they had listed on their site. They never replied.

I am not certain I am using the right driver. Their site provides a list of drivers. It doesn't provide any information on which driver any particular product need. The driver I selected works well enough to use the product.

The retail packaging left a imprint on the headphone's wire where it had pinched it. It doesn't seam to have cause any issue with the working of the device.

I do hear the occasional clicking noise while listening with the headphones. I am not certain of its cause so am not docking the score for it.

Well, I didn't expect much from this off brand headset anyways but to begin if you often communicate through skype, game chat or any other ways you will burden all listeners with constant mic feedback and static. The sound quality is decent but the design is rather lame and it isn't comfortable it gets annoying after 30 minutes of use.

Pros:
-Great shape, doesn't hurt the head
-It's light, like, not only in lift weight, but it's effortless to stretch apart. Initially i thought it was just loose and fragile, but it works.
-Red lights, cant get enough
-Sound is pretty amped, so's the mic. The microphone can pick up a LOT of sound, so you may need to tweak it.

Cons:
-This could be a pro, but for me its a hindrance. The cord is REALLY long, like 7-8 feet long. So you'll want to loop it at least once if using in an office setting, otherwise you could damage the wire by putting a chair over it.

Been using these for about eight months now. The sound, for me, was amazing and was very happy with it. However, several months ago the sound went out on one side. It's like there's a short or something because once in a while the dead earpiece will chime in for a second or two. Odd thing is, the light on the earpiece that doesn't produce sound lights up still while the other side's light quit some time ago and doesn't glow anymore. And the side that the sound quit, but light works, is the side with the mic... which also still works.

I love being able to detach the mic because it isn't used most of the time.

The cable isn't covered with the soft braiding type that some are, so it can be a little wonky when trying to wrap it up somehow. But it hasn't cracked or broke or anything.

They're pretty comfy for a little bit at a time, but for long gaming sessions they do start to hurt my head a little. I find myself pulling one of the ear pieces out to give my head a break.

For comfort and cable, I really loved the Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset.... but one of the earpieces on that completely broke off. I had it taped on for a while before I bought these. These seem much more durable, other than the problems outlined above. At least they haven't fallen apart!

NOTE: Please keep in mind that we have three kids that mess around with it when they get on the PC. Had it just been myself using them, maybe they'd still be in tip-top shape. But it's impossible to say.
