    I make my own candles and have never been let down by these wicks. They burn very clean and are easy to put into melted wax. They are also a great value for the amount that you get.
    I use dowels across the top of my candles or sometimes, the metal grid insert out of an onion chopper, to keep the wicks straight while the wax cools and then trim the excess.

    Disappointed with these, I'm new to candle making but I have done quite a lot of research. I tried these wicks using soy wax on a 3 1/2 inch diameter jar and it just made a tunnel in the centre. I also tried them on a 2 inch diameter jar and I still didnt get a full melt pool.
