I purchased several books before buying this one. However, "Escape the Cubicle: How to leave your corporate or government job for something better", was the most informative, beneficial, and advantageous of them all. It effectively took me from the thought stages of my idea to where I am today. I owe my business to the advice given, and would highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to branch out into business on their own, and succeed in a lucrative way.
your business smarter, attract business by using social media and
stay in business by keeping your computers and networks working.
This book is for you. How Escape the Cubicle can help you overcome
fear of self employment and also help you make smart decisions with
your time, energy, and money.
How Escape the Cubicle gives ground breaking advice to help you:
xn Build the foundation for self-employment
xn Embrace social networking as a necessary activity
xnn Market your services with social networking
xnn Determine what tools you need to run your business
xnn Develop habits that will help you stay in business
The Author points to the necessity of having a Definite Mission that is
provable, concise, and ambitious. Since the book is about self-employment,
he proposes that you consider Becoming successfully self-employed.
In conclusion the Author left me feeling good about his book. It¡¦s a must
read. How Escape the Cubicle explains how we need some positive reinforcement.
How we need to end the day knowing our decisions created at least three good
results. How we should take this momentum into tomorrow and generate at least
three more good results. Within a week, you will have 21 successes. If you cannot
think of three good results, a) turn off the TV and b) try again. Good things happen.
It is your job to identify them and create more tomorrow. This is great advise.
I loved it!
Mark does a great job of laying out the most important things you need to know to be successful. Many of them are details you probably haven't heard about or considered. I wish I had this book before I left corporate America!
