About the Author
After the war, Kon Pierkarski was educated at London and Iowa State Universities. He obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Biomechanical Engineering from Cambridge. In 1951, he immigrated to Canada and is now a semi-retired professor at the University of Waterloo.

The way the book is written is highly detailed and I really could almost visualize exactly what was taking place.
If you want another good book on auschwitz other camps, this is a very good ,action filled memoir... I'm sure you will like it!
