- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2013I have purchased and read alot of books on choosing Single Motherhood by Artificial Insemination. This is the most complete book I have read. It also gave me alot of information that other books did not. For instance, I had not really considered home insemination before but now I know I will try home insemination first. I think this is a great book for ANYONE considering artificial insemination whether gay, bi-sexual, straight, single, couples, anonymous or known donors.....

I have a whole library of books on the subject and this is the most in depth and detailed book I've found yet. Tells you basically exactly when to do things and what to watch for. Can't say enough about this book!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2008Pros: very informative
Cons: too informative
My partner called this the "bad book" because it scared me. Did not enjoy the writer's tone-scare tactic like.
Was deciding between RACHEL PEPPER'S book and this...choose this one based upon the number of pages (like more pages would make me a better educated mother on this subject).
I was WRONG.
Since then I have ordered RACHEL PEPPER'S "Ultimate Guide"
LOVE IT!
She has a more relaxed feeling throughout
I found the snip-its of Real Stories from different lesbians & their experiences in every step of the conception process to be almost like a support group feel-encouraging you through this exciting journey.
