To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I bought this because I hadn’t read Prof Friedman in years and it seemed a good way to refresh my comprehension of his work. In fact, it extended my knowledge of his work.

Reading a book like this will familiarize you with a famous personality, but like most history, it could be "fake news" for all we know. Nothing in this book will help you economically, or financially, so skip it if that is what you are looking for. In fact, I would caution, "never trust an economist." It's pure conjecturing and surmising. Rationality and reason at it's most contrived. Still, it is more entertaining than movies or television. So if you are looking for something fun to read, it is pretty good.
The only type of person that I can imagine might benefit from reading such "fluff," would be a politician, and very few of them would be able to turn this type of nonsense into anything actionable.
However, the main claim of this book is rather worth knowing, and similar claims can be found in the books of Malcolm Gladwell and Nassim Nicholas Taleb. I won't tell you what it is. You would have to read it.
