My favorite part of this book is the section on edible wild plants. Most people are surrounded by wild edible plants...they just don't know which ones they can and can't eat. This book shows you some of the more common ones you can eat and also discusses a few that you should definitely avoid. With so many wild edible plants all around, there's really no reason why anyone should ever go hungry.
You never know when you are going to need the information this book contains for survival. Things do happen...and they usually happen when we least expect them. Don't get caught unprepared.
This book will teach you the basics of surviving in emergency situations. It covers all the aspects that you need to think of, from building a shelter and making fire to finding water and food. Interesting things are covered, such as learning to identify edible plants and how to deal with common injuries.
Aside from preparing for possible emergencies, learning survival skills can also be fun! If you go on a camping trip with your kids, what's better than building a hut together or making a fire? If you're looking to learn more about survival skills and how to secure basic necessities in an emergency situation, this book is a great place to start.
