Another great story from R. Colora. I like when an author brings over characters from the first story and give them their own. Just like the first story in this series you are in for a roller coaster ride of emotions. But the ending is worth it.

Estelle Roux is trying to reclaim her life after the horrific events she went through in Kennedy in Denver. After my initial dislike of "Stella" I grew to love Estelle and felt the pain of everything she endured at the hands of her father, Edwin.

Rhydian Kerrigan is one of Easton's brothers and has had a crush on Estelle since the first time Easton brought her around. Now it is his time to show Estelle how much he cares for her and be there for her.

Yet, through their mutual attraction for each other, things are moving too fast for them both and neither can erase her past. When Estelle tries to conquer her past by herself will she drive Rhydian away? Will Estelle learn to lean on Rhydian or will she go to Kennedy and Tristan?

Will Estelle let herself be happy or will she always be surrounded by the ghosts of her past?

This another amazing book!! There is so much pain in this book and has a lot of difficult subject matters but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I loved how much strength Estelle gathers through the book and how she knows what she needs to do to heal herself. I also love how she turns it around to help so many other people through her suffering.

Rhydian is a great character that wants to be the one that Estelle turns to and thinks he is doing what is right for her. He is really trying to get it right and I give him so much credit for that.

As with the previous book, Kennedy in Denver, this book focuses on the supporting characters as well and we get a sense of so much love and support for everyone! I am loving all the characters in this series and can't wait for the next one!

Estelle has worked very hard to feel better about herself. When she finds out that her father is out of prison and is more than likely going to come after her because of what she has. Estelle goes to her apartment with Rhydian and sees that someone broke into her apartment, instantly she knew that it was her father. Estelle stays with Rhydian because that is where he wants her to be. Rhydian has always had feelings for Estelle since the first time that Easton brought her to the house. Estelle comes up with a plan to get rid of her father.
Estelle has demons that she is having trouble dealing with, she is Kennedy's friend and she learned how to shoot and took self defense classes. Rhydian is Easton's brother, he has always had feelings for Estelle and would do anything to protect Estelle. Antonio De Luca runs a pro bono body guard business, he has a son who is a Pro MMA fighter. He will do anything to help protect Estelle. Kennedy is a mother of triplets, she is married to Eastona and is friends with Estelle. Easton is Rhydian's brother, Married to Kennedy and is very protective of Estelle.
This is the Second book in the In Denver Series. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. You can't help but fall in love with the characters. I again was hooked from the first page and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Estelle in Denver is the second book of the In Denver series, which follows the Kerrigan family. This is the heart breaking and intense story of Estelle and Rhydian, and it will stay with you long after you've finished. I need to say this, there's a mention in the synopsis, it has moments that might be a trigger for some, it was for me. That being said, the tone and they way the characters react to the tough situation, didn't leave me wrecked. Estelle is an extremely strong and determined woman, she's loved by an entire family and that's the main point of the story. I found myself crying and cheering for her, while wanting to slap a very stubborn and at times cruel Rhydian, oh that man! I'm a sucker for series like this, where each character has their own self contained book, but the current and previous charters carry over and move from one story to the next. Estelle in Denver was a great emotional read, I plan on going back and reading Kennedy's story and the rest of the series as its released.

Another hit on your hands! Enjoyed every minute of reading time. Excited to read the next ones. By the way this is not usually the type of books I read. Grabbed my attention right away and kept me reading.

Estelle in Denver is the second installment of the Denver Series. It follows Estelle who comes from an abusive home life and Rhydian who comes from the well liked and well-off Kerrigan family. These Kerrigan men seem to have a hard time holding on to their women. After many ups and downs and twists and turns, they finally find their HEA. All the characters from the first installment return in this one. Character development is good. Build up in the relationship is good. Scenery description is good. Writing was a little confusing at times but not enough to completely distract from the storyline.

This installment can be read as a stand alone and does have an HEA.
