I absolutely loved this new addition to the Middlemarch series! This one has the cutest kids or would that be kittens? It can be read alone but you would miss references to the prior stories and couples. Shelly Munro is one of my favorite authors, I've never read a book of hers I didn't love! She's a very gifted writer, always putting a little humor (ok sometimes a lot) in her stories while at the same time ramping up the heat factor. I was lucky enough to receive a complimentary copy in return for a fair and honest review. Highly recommend this book to shifter lovers - it's one of the best shifter series out there!
Caroline and Marsh are having a rough time with their marriage. They have been married for years and have two boys. But they have secrets. The biggest one? Is that Marsh is a feline shifter and so are their boys and Caroline doesn’t know it. She thinks the late nights and sleeping in separate rooms means he’s moved on or cheating, not that Marsh doesn’t know what to do anymore.
When given the option to start fresh they take it and their lives seem to improve. They start sharing a bed, work together, and become happy. But when his secret starts to threaten their new arrangements, can he tell Caroline the truth? Or will meddling family members and Caroline’s fear of that secret tear them apart?
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This book was different from the other story lines but it wasn't so bad really. Guess I'm just partial to the others. Yep, that's what I thought at first but I continued to read and I was blown away, it was fantastic, OMG to think I was getting ready to say nope I don't want to read more, which I've done in the past and like this book I forced myself to read a little further. Thank Goodness I did, Ms. Shelley is a miracle worker when it comes to putting pen to paper, making it come alive as the characters become active in the story line. I sware once this lady starts to write hold on to your seat your in for a wild ride. To me this story let you see the destruction of a marriage when the parent insist it there way on how to act in your marriage, the waves they make in this book particularly against the wife making her feel she's not worthy of there son. Making it hard for two people to make it go of there marriage. And from the beginning the lies to cover up are digging the husbands grave.
Marsh Rutherford is a Feline Shifter who has dedicated his life to his parent's farm he worked 24/7 since college never having anytime to himself or his wife and sons. From the beginning he has listened to his parents on what to tell his human wife. Believing they are right he still hadn't told his wife after two sons and years of hiding himself from his wife he was loosing it all.
Caroline Rutherford loved her husband with all of her heart it didn't matter there was no money because they were so broke they never even went to town for breakfast, lunch or dinner nothing, never. It didn't matter how her in laws belittled her, treating her like a second class citizen. What mattered was his nights out, never around, not a lover or that he was a part time if that father. It was time, after years of this treatment she was leaving. She made up her mind. I was gifted this book for an honest and truthful review.
WAIT TILL THE END WOWZER!!
