Lasts forever. Your kids will fight over these when you're dead and gone. I had the lighter ones (16oz) and bumped up to these bad boys - the only difference is how far that nail goes. They don't feel any heavier at the end of the day and swing super easy. They are indestructible.

The hammer came today wrapped in simple bubble wrap with sticky tape around it. Upon opening it's easy to see the discrepancies between this and the Amazon listed hammer... Firstly the logo on the handle does not match, nor does the sticker or label. If you flick the rubber handle the hammer sounds like a spring and I can actually flex the neck slightly with my bare hands (I have not owned an estwing hammer before so am not sure if these issues are normal, but it certainly pales in comparison to my other "cheap" hammers)
This hammer has the appearance and feel of what I imagine a Chinese version would be like.
I think for nearly £40 it should be vastly better and am very disappointed...
