Designed for striking cold chisels, brick chisels, punches, star drills, spikes and hardened nails. Both faces are beveled. This drilling hammer has an 11 in. jacketed and textured yellow fiberglass handle which allows for heavier blows in an environment where there is limited swing. This is the excellent solid hammer you'd expect from Estwing. Thor himself would keep it, and I'm keeping mine. But I do resent being told online that it's made in USA when it isn't. It's made in Taiwan. Which fine with me; they're a friendly country and they make top quality tools. The point of checking country of origin is only to avoid China where possible, and only for ethical reasons -- there's nothing wrong with their quality either. But customers who choose to shop with ethics in mind as well as quality do have a right to know the truth about where products originate. No real issue this time, but still, somebody needs to wise up about that.
