Erion's son, Ladd, is kidnapped by Erion's adoptive father, the evil vampire Cruen. In order to get Ladd back, Erion kidnaps Cruen's bride-to-be as a bargaining chip. But Erion doesn't realize that Hellen is a demon from Hell, and she turns out to be more than he bargained for. She calls to the demon nature he tries to keep hidden and under control, and their attraction to each other is primal and undeniable.
When Hellen's father, the Devil--yes, THE Devil--discovers that she's missing, all Hell breaks loose. Well, The Devil breaks loose. Now Erion has to deal with the Devil. And Erion not only wants his son back, but the devil's daughter in the bargain.
But the devil doesn't drive a fair bargain.
Hellen is feisty, strong, and kick-butt. Yet she's also sympathetic. She has a tender heart, and constantly worries that she's going to end up like her father. Is she beautiful? That's brought up often throughout the book. You'll have to decide for yourself, but she's beautiful in Erion's eyes.
Erion was short-changed in life, having been rejected by his mother and raised by Cruen. He's considered a "mistake." His son is being raised by his twin brother and his brother's true mate, and Ladd doesn't even realize that Erion is his father. But when Ladd is kidnapped, Erion's fatherly instincts roar to the surface. He feels that he must be the one to bring him home. I won't give you any spoilers, but Erion grows into his true self on his journey.
This book moved along at a fast pace. The suspense, danger, and tension--sexual and otherwise--between Hellen and Erion kept me reading page after page. I was finished before I knew it. And I wanted more!
We visit with favorite characters from past books in ETERNAL DEMON. It was fun to see the irreverent Lucian again. Alexander was his usual commanding self except when it came to his Achilles heel, Sara. Nicholas and Kate face a dark moment in their lives, and it will be interesting to see how they come out on the other side. Synjon Wise has virtually gone mad. Eternal Sin: Mark of the Vampire is set up at the end of ETERNAL DEMON. Although I could see the last line of the book coming, it still gave me a thrill.

Wow! I loved Eternal Demon! It kept me enthralled from beginning to end and left me wanting more. I have been hooked on The Mark of the Vampire series since Laura Wright released the first book in the series! This book had everything I look for in a great book. Eternal Demon has plenty of action, danger, intrigue and steamy romance. Erion and Hellen are made for each other and bring out the best in each other. I loved their dialogue with each other. Laura Wright created a world so vivid that the reader feels like they are right there with the characters. She has an incredible writing style that I love! I can not wait for the next book, Eternal Sin, to come out in November 2013. I recommend this book and this series for all paranormal romance lovers!
In this novel Erion does everything in his power to search and rescue his child including going into Hell. He kidnaps his enemy and father, Cruen's bride to be, Hellen and ultimately finds someone who he falls in love with.
This story was full of twists and turns and lots of action. Erion and Hellen were perfect together. They had so much chemistry sexually, physically and emotionally. A powerful story that was also very emotional.
I loved that we got to see all the past characters including the Roman brothers and their mates and even some new ones. The ending leads into the next book, Eternal Sin. And I am so excited and anxious to read it. November is way too long to wait.
and especially with this one and the addition of the devil, and I am enjoying it, I miss the intensity of the first three books in this series.
However there is no denying the journey of the brothers is fascinating and exciting as we wonder what the writer will do next. The changes as the creatures/men meet their one and only are nice to watch particularly with Erion and his son. The softening around the edges is after all what the fairy tale demands.
Well worth the read!.
