From the Inside Flap
"Eternal marriage cannot be achieved without a commitment to make it work," ways Elder F. Burton Howard , who reminds us that the covenant of marriage comes with sacred obligations and must not be treated lightly. "Most of what I know about this I have learned from my companion. We have been married for almost forty-seven years now. From the beginning she knew what kind of marriage she wanted "
Elder Howard follows his wise counsel with a poignant, personal story that beautifully illustrates the sacrifice and effort required to make a marriage eternal.
