Like Farmer's To Your Scattered Bodies Go, a nebulous alien power has revived humans on a distant planet. Shortly before his death and resurrection, the protagonist wrote a fiery masterpiece which became the spark to set off the White Revolution. This is the latest tour de force by Ward Kendall and we are hoping that he finishes his own The Shining Glory before being assassinated himself.

As always, Ward Kendall can write a book that is plausible. Over the years I’ve seen movies and read novels about “life after death”. But Ward Kendall’s “Eternity Beach” offers an exciting and enjoyable new twist to this theme. In addition, it’s also a socio-political commentary on our times, and where this nation is headed. Garrick Fenstad, the novel’s main character, is a brilliant writer whose life is suddenly cut short, just before his ground-breaking novel is accepted for publication. He’s dead, until he mysteriously wakes up after being killed in a car crash. What follows makes this an intriguing read, as well as offering the most plausible life-after-death story I’ve ever read. Get it!
