Flat design is fantastic. They are thinner than I expected. I can fold them back and slide them under the router for a nice clean look. They take up much less space than regular round cables. Overall these cables have a high quality feel and work well. Anti-snag end is the perfect balance between thick enough to protect the clip from snagging, and not so thick that they are difficult to release from ports. Included wall mount clips are a nice touch. Haven't used them yet, might in the future.

I want my younger brothers to have the best gaming experience they can have, and most of the things I couldn't get when I was kid. I have a network case right outside the room of my door and needed small cat Ethernet cables to connect to the modem, wi-fi router, and our 24 port switch box and more in a close proximity. So far 6 out of 6 cables worked. I have a 500mb download speed but the max my ps4, or anything that can speed test can only go up to 350mb download which is already over kill for online gaming lol. I got the 75ft one as well, but have not hooked it up. My mother has her own internet, but she only has 5mb of download speed, and asked If she can use my internet when she works from home. Soon I'll leave my review of the 75ft brand once work settles down after Halloween.

Before entering in to service, I tested theses in my unscientific way.

Test Bed: From Intel I211 ethernet adapter via EnGenius EWS1200D-10T L2 managed switch to an Asustor AS6204T NAS (802.3ad LACP Link Aggregate of 2). Initially, the NAS was connected using CAT5e cables. As write is slower than read, the limitation here is probably the mechanical hard drives on the NAS. The EnGenius switch has a cable testing facility and all cables were tested between the I211 and the EnGenius switch port 4 for opens and shorts of all 4 pairs shown as EWS Cable Test. Throughput test was achieved transferring a 5GB test file between the I211 and the NAS, first writing the file then reading it back using the FREE version of LAN Speed Test software (by Totusoft).

After putting these in to service, one was not connecting at 1000 mbps link but only 100 mbps link. I removed that cable from service and contacted the seller about the issue. The seller was cooperative and helpful and provided for a replacement quickly. The others are all working well.

I had bought some 6 foot round Ethernet cables but they were to hard to manage. These are easier to manage, I bought 10 ‘ long so I can pull my electronics out when I need to trouble shoot any issues with ease. These flat cables are good.
