I really like the bag for carrying my rods , camp chair and tackle but also it's small enough to leave in my truck. I have 2 piece rods so I break them down when done and the whole thing fits nicely in the jump seat area of my Mazda truck.
I like the generic green that won't scare the fish away when I'm setting things up to start fishing. I got a camp chair of the same color for the same reason. I have noticed I have better luck bank fishing when I don't wear bright colors so I'm pleased the bag isn't bright anything or super dark either, a drab green that is pretty unnoticeable from any distance.
I take my chair out after taking the rods I plan to use out, buckle the strap back then remove the chair and it keeps things relatively stiff and easy to manage when I switch spots to fish. I have a range of 5' ultra light to 6' medium-heavy and toting them around, broken down or assembled, is a breeze for me.
This bag has made carrying more than 2 rods with me to my spots much better and I'm no longer dodging branches and trying to untangle the mess I used to make when carrying all my stuff. I take the bag whether or not I use my chair.
The construction seems to be very good so far , I'm not having any problems with the zipper, Velcro, etc .
Some don't like the fact that when empty it doesn't stand or is even stiff but I don't mind a bit because it's a breeze to work around either with the chair in the bag or the center strap being hooked.
It's a very handy thing to have if you're taking young children fishing with all of their stuff because most of it will fit in the bag , leaving more ability to keep an eye out for snakes or the children from getting too far ahead in their excitement to go fishing because you won't need 12 hands anymore or extra eyes to make sure nothing got dropped.
I've gotten several compliments on it and a few queries to where they could get one for themselves.

Got my bag today and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and workmanship. I was expecting really thin nylon fabric that I would have to baby to make last but it's actually made from a fairly thick nylon material with pretty well sewn seams. Not as thick as an old canvas army duffle bag but a durable water repellent material that will fit the bill close enough. Everyone seems to be obsessing over the fact that it doesn't stand up by itself so the solution is to forget the sonotube (no need for extra useless weight) and put your gear in the bag. It accommodates my Quik Shade MAX Shade Camp Chair perfectly as well as my XUNMA Telescoping Landing Net and my catfish poles and other stuff too. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because some flunky (must have been the new guy or made on Friday just before quitting time) permanently affixed my shoulder strap upside down which renders the padded portion unusable. See photos. I also think that even though the strap is well made and sewn on using an interior patch that a better design would have been to sew a large patch inside and out top and bottom and then sew a buckle to that to better distribute the weight of the load and also make the strap replaceable. I'm a crafty guy and can reverse the strap it's just that I would rather not have to but for $20 over all I'm pleased with my purchase.

Very happy with this product. There was a small quality control issue, in that one of the straps wasn't completely sewn on. But other than that, the case works perfectly. I'm able to put two folding deck chairs into the middle compartment, which then makes the case / bag rigid enough to mount all the poles around the perimeter. Being able to pack a couple of chairs in at the same time is a real bonus!

The idea is simple, and the price is right. We now just keep the poles in that bag in the garage, and are ready to go fishing at a moment's notice. No more fumbling and untangling our various poles when we arrive at our spot. It was always such a hassle pulling them out of the car (there are FIVE of us). Instead, we gently slide the bag out, I carry it to the lake, and start handing out the poles, one by one. Once the poles are out, I pull out a chair for me and one for my wife. The kids don't want chairs anyway. VERY handy.

My grandsons and I camp and fish quite often. What with tents, towels, coolers, bedding, food and everything else we take in the car (Dodge Caravan), putting 7 fishing poles in the car was a nightmare. I put a chair in the middle and was able to get all seven rods and reels in the 5 pockets on the bag. The poles sit in a pocket on the bottom and are velcrowed at the top with a strap that goes around the middle to hold them in place. I put a couple of the smaller rods and reels together to get all of them into their places. Just the fact that they are all compacted together and will not tangle is the greatest bonus of all. We won't have poles leaning against trees everywhere after we set up camp (after we untangle them) and can just head out fishing! I don't think it will ever stand up by itself because all of the weight in on one side with the poles (even with the chair in the middle); however, that will allow me to lean them against something or place it flat in the car without damaging the reels. I'm happy with it.
