For all those who missed the record when it was first released, and to all those who Cornell turned off after "Scream"...
CLICK BUY IMMEDIATELY.
This record is that good. Cornell's dark & ethereal songwriting with beautiful flourishes of psychedelia, R&B, and Abbey Road influences. Severely underrated in its initial release because of its departure from the Soundgarden sound, EU is full of beautifull melancholy and is aptly titled (or re-titled).

Great album from the best singer in rock. Can't Change Me was a huge single int he 90's, had a cool music video(remember those), and was my gateway song to this album and his solo and other projects. Chris Cornell is a good song writer first and foremost. He hits a bit of everything on this though it's not as heavy as what he was going with Soundgarden back then, it's showcases his other side, with solid guitar work, wordsmithing aplenty, and memorable hooks. If you have never heard this album and want a solid listening experience check this out. If you hate when then that's the opposite of liking it.

I was very happy when I fond out that Euphoria Mourning was getting remastered for vinyl. The sound of this LP is amazing, the vinyl isn't as pretty as RTI, Pellas or Quality Record Pressings, had a few scuff marks on it from the cheap paper insert the vinyl came in, but it's flat and almost as quiet as some of my more expensive audiophile pressings. If you are a Chris Cornell fan and have never heard this album, treat yourself and listen to it on vinyl. If you have enjoyed it already on CD, then hear it again in all it's glory with the depth you're just not going to get on the CD version, it's been a quote a few years since I listened to this album from start to finish and it's just gotten better with time and with the vinyl release sounds as good as it's ever sounded. Highly recommended.

For those of you who haven't heard this album, I will caution you that it's not Soundgarden or Audiosoave, this one's all Chris Cornell and is a little bit of a departure from what he's done with bands over the years.

This review is for the vinyl version. The pressing is high quality and very quiet and it was a pleasure to put on my turntable. The music itself...this is an excellent album. It has a great feel and flow to it from start to finish. Chris is an incredible musician. This album is a must have.

Love this album. Have had the physical copy since it came out & recently decided I'd like to have it with me in the car/on the go. If you love Cornell's voice and are feeling a lil more mellow, I absolutely recommend this CD.

This is a great record that has only improved with age. Largely overlooked when it came out this has been one that I keep returning to, and you will too. It really is a "lost classic". This is not Soundgarden or Audioslave but just Cornell straight no chaser. Shame that it does not include the Bonus tracks of "Can't Change Me" in in French which was on the Original CD or "Sunshower", which was part of the recording sessions for Euphoria Mourning but placed on the soundtrack to "Great Exceptions" (which you should find if you like this recording). This is a desert island recording.

Being a fan of Higher Truth. I always heard great things about Euphoria Mourning. What a great album. No fillers here. Chris Cornell is this generations Robert Plant. Very distinctive and soaring melodies that tug at your heart. Do yourself a favor and buy this record.
