The only steam mop with front steam jets - cleans right up to the edge of the room, ideal for vertical corners, stair risers and kitchen baseboards. Also useful for pre- treating stains. The compact structure and curved reclining handle is very handy and efficient. Monster floor can easily reach into difficult corners and under furniture. The carpet sledge simply clips on to the base of the monster floor. The Microfibre carpet pad is trapped inside the sledge. With the sledge fitted the monster floor just glides over rugs and carpets with very little effort. The carpet pad will pick up surface grime, and the steam loosens the grit, animal hairs and ground-in dirt which can then be vacuumed away as the super hot dry steam leaves the carpet dry in a few minutes.

I followed the instructions on installing the handle but somehow the end got damaged and the front steam jets weren't able to be triggered as a result. I called customer service and they informed me they will be sending a new handle.
I first tested it out on the carpeted areas. First I vacuumed the carpet and then I went over it with the EZ1 with carpet glide and microfiber cloth combo.
One tank full was more than enough to go over about 400 sq ft of carpet (minus furniture so maybe 200sq ft?) thoroughly with.
What amazed me was that even after just having vacuumed the microfiber cloth was full of cat hair. This took me by surprise. After vacuuming again when done with the steamer I hopefully picked up even more pet hair.
The steam also helped fluff up the carpet under chairs and other objects.
Used it on ceramic and vinyl tile and it did a good job there as well. Doesn't get into the grout though.
The handle though is just plain horrible. If you've ever seen one of those really cheap camera tripods that come in a kit and feel like you'll break it if you look at it wrong think of that type of quality.
If they just made the handle a little stronger this would be a 5 star product. I bought it because of the claims that it has the highest temperature among all these low cost steam mops.
I'm just hoping the new handle allows me to use the front steam jets. Will update if it does not or if I have any other problems with customer service.
UPDATE.. The OEM pads only lasted about 4 months. I bought three replacement packs, which only lasted about 90 days before each of those pad replacement packs failed to stay on the Monster steamer. Curious as to why the pads refuse to stay attached, I inspected the little spikes on the Monster that make the pads stick and found they are melted so they cannot grab the Velcro on the pads. Last month while mopping the handle broke too. Turns out it is cheap China plastic.
I tried to reattach it with gorilla glue to no avail. The sad part is the Monster steamer really cleans well. But the handle is so cheap it is unusable. Furthermore, even if the handle was built correctly, the pads do not stay on the machine so I still cannot use it. When the pads fail to stick to the little spikes on the bottom, the mop slides off the pads, and scratches my bamboo flooring. Replacing the scratched flooring cost me $340. Not happy with this product any more.
Key things you must do before steaming your floor
1. Vacuum your floor
2. Mop stains (i.e. snow boot dirt ect)
After those simple tedious steps ... I steamed the whole place and was pretty happy with the results.
this model comes equipped with Clean blast (four steam nozzles in front that allow you to blast sum steam in corners, hard to reach areas, ect ... Controlled by a trigger located by the handle).
no other floor steamer has this feature to my knowledge ...
I owned a Haan which my sister loved and never returned ... so I purchased the euro in place of it to compare
3 plus's over the Haan ...
1. Clean Blast
2. Steam is hotter
3. Steam is adjustable
1 plus over Euro
1. The Haan cord is way more flexible and user friendly (easy to wrap back up for storage) ... The euro cord is the worst cord ever (does not wind up well, hard, and not very flexible)
all in all a great value at this price even with the extra shipping costs ... I paid over 80 dollars for my Haan ...
Question is ... will it last? ... if it does ... it's twice the cleaner.
ps. the cord really is annoying ...
