True to form this book is full of forced feelings for multiple men, based on a few encounters and Eves internal rambling. I don't even know if I like eve. I can't decide if she's smart or dumb. Everyone says she's smart, she has a ta position at the University, but is constantly skipping class...even before all the drama that happens in this book. I have trouble ignoring inconsistencies like that.
To be fair, I saw some issues like this in the beginning of the caged series that ended up being minor compared to how good the series as a whole is.
My number one problem is that it's an entire book of cheap semi romantic encounters and no depth. I didn't get interested until the book was at 78 percent. And nothing actually happens until around 90 percent. I don't see how anyone saw this as a complete book before publishing. All that said.... I will keep reading because I know it can and probably will get better. If I were you though, I wouldn't read this until book two is it so you actually have a story to read.

Book's all thing's paranormal and romance
From the moment I started reading I was drawn into the story and couldn’t put it down. There’s enough twists to keep you guessing and wanting more. Great plot, great read!
We follow Eve, a woman who sees things and has been deemed 'crazy' a majority of her life due to this. But we learn she's not crazy and there's a reason she sees them.
Eve is everything I love in a FMC. She's sassy, snarky, confident. She knows her worth and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. But she also has her vulnerable moments. Which makes her feel more real.
And her guys. In RH it's very important to have distinct difference between them so we can tell them apart. The author executive this flawlessly. Personalities didn't bleed and blend together. Each male is unique in looks and personality.
Amber gave us many questions with book 1. I can't wait for book 2
