Ended up purchasing two, one glow in the dark and one regular, and at the price for each kit (one was $44.95 and one was $42.10), I felt it was a little ridiculous for what you get in each. I have two children who use them so we basically needed to buy two kits to give them room to actually get in there and play. They love it when we pull them out but as the purchaser, the price is very high in my opinion. Also was a little disappointed that it was something they aren't able to do on their own. I end up assembling the forts myself to make sure the rods are put into the correctly labeled holes as advised on the instructions and to make sure they're inserted all the way so the rods don't break. We haven't had any break yet but they do feel flimsy. I guess so they can acquire the shapes for some of the forts? Either way, I'm still cautious so the plastic doesn't snap.

Unfortunately, you need like 2 to 3 boxes to really do anything. But even with the ONE BOX it's tough to put together and hold up. The sticks come apart the minute you move them. And think sheets will stay when you finally get it together? Nope. The sheet better be paper thin because anything heavier will have the whole creation come apart. 🙄🙄

We bought this for my sons 5th birthday. He does really like it and we thought it would be a fab present for him! The rods could do with being a bit sturdier- I was really surprised with how thin they are. There are a few fort designs inside you can make which is good for ideas. Only thing is 69 pieces sounds like a lot but are used pretty quickly which then means they are limited to what they can build, so much so that we will probably need to get a other pack as there are designs inside for multi packs.

Pricey but you get what you pay for. Other sets I have seen are much flimsier and the fittings are either too tight or too loose. This had good sturdy joints. It will take some knocks but it will come apart of too tough with it but very fun to put back together. My nephew is 2 and he loved it. Not easy for kids to assemble so make it at night when they are in bed ready for the morning.

So I have to help the kids play with it, I would have preferred to let them get on with it and use there imagination....not mine!
It would be good if there was extension kits for this also, it could do with a few more parts to make bigger forts.

Instead they second you put any blankets in and try and crawl in the pieces... yes you guessed it, come apart. The bases must be compete square or they just slip and slide away from the frame on wood. Peeps some suction pads are needed? Not cheap, bought this brand as I understood it was the best and wanted to avoid the exact issues described above.

I still yet to see the glowing in the dark feature. But so far this is quite a lot of fun for the kids. The only thing it's that we have to help them to built it, to make sure they put the connectors the wright way up so everything fits in its place. Tends to come out of places once built which is frustrating but overall good idea for a present. I think the price is slightly high for what it is. I wouldn't mind the cost if it came with the big piece of fabric which it doesn't. Longer sticks for entrance in the forts would make it even better.
