Top Customer Reviews
Great price for nicely made, pleasingly simple, natural, small, lightweight bat hostel for 10 bats but we've since learned dark color sealing crevices best for northern climates to attract/hold warmth. So a non-toxic "Zero V.O.C." paint could help.
Other bat houses hold more bats--up to 125 bats--but we ordered this small inexpensive house to "get our feet wet" & after that a bigger house, along w/ Amazon's bottle of bat attract scent to draw to their new lodgings the bats we've seen in the evening sky above our treeline.
As other reviewers said, this small house needs something on bottom to secure it, so we'll try a nail below it like another recommended. (Hubby duct-taped bottom to a 10-foot pole, which may repel their sensitive noses when its chemicals warm in the sun even after he removes it to nail it 15-feet high on a tree.)
