Everlast Pro Style Training Gloves are made of tough and durable Everhide and designed with an extra layer of foam for added protection during training and sparring. Naturally contoured to the shape of the fist and thumb, the gloves allow for greater maneuverability, control and protection. The wrists are fully padded on both sides to keep hands in proper position while punching, with the special Thumb-lok feature providing additional support. A wide wraparound Velcro strap is easy to adjust and provides a secure and comfortable fit.
The name Everlast is synonymous with boxing. Renown internationally as a manufacturer of boxing equipment, Everlast started out as a swimwear manufacturer in 1910. Headquartered in the Bronx, NY, the company was founded by 17-year-old Jacob Golomb. The son of a tailor and an avid swimmer, Jacob Golomb was dissatisfied with the durability of swimsuits because they barely lasted a season, so he began making suits that he guaranteed would last for a full year. He proudly gave them the name, Everlast. Although the swimsuits did not last through the years, the name did.
Over the next years, Golomb expanded his company into a small retail store that carried a full line of sports equipment. In 1917, a young fighter named Jack Dempsey introduced boxing to Golomb and Everlast. Dempsey asked Golomb to construct protective headgear that would last more than 15 rounds of intensive boxing training. Golomb specially designed the training gear for Dempsey. In 1919, Dempsey won the worlds heavyweight championship wearing boxing gloves made for him by Golomb. Everlast became the headquarters for boxing equipment throughout the world. In 1925, Golomb designed elastic-waist trunks to replace the leather-belted trunks then worn by boxers. These trunks, now known as boxer trunks, immediately became famous. Jacob Golomb ran the business until he passed away in the early 1950s and his son, Dan, took over. In 1958, Ben Nadorf joined Everlast and purchased 50% of the company from the Golomb family. When Dan Golomb passed away in 1995, Nadorf purchased the familys remaining 50% interest. Nadorf remained the President and Principle Share Holder of Everlast until October 24, 2000.
Everlast mens and womens apparel and accessories continue today to be tremendously successful both inside and outside the ring. In addition, Everlast boxing trunks and equipment remain the proud and undefeated champion of the boxing industry for more than 90 years. The history continues, as the name states. Everlast has a traditional past and a knockout future.

We learned from our mistakes and returned back for this round (get it? round? boxing?). These are holding up pretty well two months in, however I will like to point out that the stitching, especially where the white area near the palm of the hand is located, is very sloppy. The velcro and padding are holding strong, however. While the stitching is sloppy, there has not been any stitch failures, so that is a positive.
We've purchased the red and the black ones and both are great in terms of function, comfort, weight, and size. We'll definitely be buying these again, and staying the heck away from the "venom" brand at all costs!
As a pro-tip - we purchased these and push them into the finger area as much as possible, then wrap the connection portion through the opening near the anterior wrist holes, then close the velcro. These extend the life of non-smelling gloves considerably. A secondary step is to place the gloves on a warm HVAC vent in the winter when the gloves are wet. The combo dries them out nicely. The cologne and fresh linen smells are good.
The cheap deodorizers are one of those "you get what you paid for" type situations. I'm not saying this is the best brand, just what we've used more than once and have been happy with them. Meister Glove Deodorizers for Boxing and All Sports - Absorbs Stink and Leaves Gloves Fresh - Cologne

Hope it helps you.
1) Comfortable and Easy to put on compared to the Spartan Gloves .
2) Ventilation is great too .
3) Fits better than the Spartans and Fatigues my forearms lesser .
4) Looks nice .
5) Form Factor is modern and better for learners than a fight glove .
1) The quality of the material and stitching not as good as my 15 year old Spartan gloves . ( It will most certainly not last this is a major drawback for me ) .
2) Not sturdy enough for a Heavy Bag . Only for Light Sparring and maybe Pad-work .
The stitching looked messy in some spots and the Velcro didn’t quite go around all the way, which I would prefer if it did.
I did return these I wasn’t personally happy. I am a fan of this brand but not these gloves. I will attempt a higher oz and hope there is less cramping in my fingers.
Personally, I got myself another pair from another brand.
These do fall apart quickly, though. 3 months' use and the inside is falling apart. Spend a bit more and get a higher quality, longer-lasting glove.
Amazing gloves. Your shoulder gets super tired punching with this which is a good thing in my opinion.
Stitching, velcro, synthetic leather, every aspect of the glove is top notch.
P.S - go to YouTube and search for everlast boxing tutorial. I have no coach or an instructor. It's been over 2 months since I started boxing and already feel while and fit.
