FINNALLY THEY SAID THEY REFUNDED MY MONEY AND ALREADY AND THEY WOULD STILL SEND ME THE RED AND WHITE BAG......I REPLYED AND SAID NO THANKS I NEEDED IT TO BE ALL BLACK. HAVENT HEARD FROM THEM AND NO BAG AND HAVENT SEEN MY REFUND ON MY CARD YET. CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN GREAT IN THE PAST BUT THIS TIME THEY FAILED!

Been using the bag for a few weeks. Really put the beating on it at times. Just can't seem to keep the air up enough to stay really firm, so it doesn't bounce back as well as I'd like. The positive side to that is it requires more energy and thus burn more calories. The bag is fairly good at maintaining a straight bounce so it doesn't require a lot of work to keep the rhythm but it is frustrating when it happens to bounce funny and takes a few extra hits just to bring it back on track. Although it feels like leather, the bag is showing signs of wear far earlier than expected. You'd think it was several months old when it really is maybe 5-6 weeks. If it breaks down or fails soon, I'll update the post. Meanwhile, I'll be looking for a more durable one to purchase in the future.

I am so impressed with this bag. For the last 5 or 6 years I had another bag I bought from Amazon.com .... both are the9" bag and the last one said it was gyro balanced and when I got it I was disappointed it was kind of slow so I just chalked off to me being older but still using a heavy bag and a speed bag for hand to eye coordination. It's good for the arms and hands as one ages.
Then a week or so ago I damaged the re-fill valve on the other bag and had to order a new one. I decided on this Everlast bag (medium which means it is a 9" bag and was grudgingly putting it up (for screwing up the other bag with the refill needle) and then when I hit it the ball went three times in the time the other ball would go one. Wow, maybe I'm not getting so old after all. lol It's a shame I went 5 or 6 years hitting a dud.
The Everlast is "fun" again. Obviously the designers have their heads on and figured out the perfect length, thickness of leather and bladder.
Hats off to them and the fun they can give people who just want to keep a better reflex and tone.

This isn’t a bad bag for beginners but it’s not made well at all and Everlast should be embarrassed to release a product like this. In my opinion, they got lazy when it comes to some of there boxing equipment and should go back to the days of Gyro Balanced speed bags made with real leather.

First day I purchased the speed Bag I wanted to test out the quality and response. Here you will see me beating the speed bag to you can see the response and accuracy. It is genuine leather and the bag can Take a beating. Leave me a response of you have questions. It's a smaller speed bag, which i preferred. It requires you to be faster at hitting the bag. It did not develop any lumps and the bags stays relatively accurate in the response of the direction on hitting the bag. If your a beginner, it may take awhile for you to hit the bag as fast as I am in the video, which is not the fastest I can hit it. But saying, this is a smaller bag so it requires you to be pretty quick. Note: air needs to be added right before use each time, but to be fair I do beat on it pretty good.
Get one, this is great quality, and the video shows me Beating on the bag, months later, its still in great condition, no rips, tears or lumps, unlike the canvas bag i had.

After watching some comparison videos and reading reviews not only how this product performs but also what size I should purchase I went with the Everlast speedbag medium sized and boy am I happy. So far it performs well and looks great. As for the size, I dont think I will ever go smaller than a medium speedbag as this one is simple to use and nothing beats simple.

Just be sure to wet the needle before inflating.

Update 22 Feb 2021 - I use the speed bag every 4 days for around 15 to 20 minutes and no problems to report...money well spent.

Update 13 March 2021 - Today the bladder bag popped, it lasted quite a while, changed it out and it was my first to do this. A little tricky at first but in the end everything worked out. The leather itself on the speedbag still looks brand new and I pound the crap out of it. Good purchase. I didnt use rubber cement when I replaced the bladder bag as I had none, its a good idea to use it as it holds the nipple portion of the bladder bag in place when inserting the wet needle for inflation. You live you learn I guess. Their are Youtube videos showing how to apply the rubber cement. Stay safe everyone.
