Can't wear with wraps if your paws are ginormous, but that's nobody's fault, and unless you are trying to crush the bag, it presents no issue. If you are trying to crush the bag, spend more on gloves, dummy. To all of the people hating on these gloves: you're never going pro. Relax. They're fine.

Sufficient padding, long-lasting, and washable

When I set up my home gym in the fall of 2005, I got a heavy bag at a local sporting goods store. I had used one at the last commercial gym I trained at and really liked it. I bought a couple of pairs of boxing gloves with the bag. I used them for several years, until they began to smell so much I couldn't stand them. So I checked Amazon and looked for new gloves. These Everlast gloves appealed to me, as the description said they were washable, so I ordered a pair in April 2010. They worked just fine, padding my hands sufficiently for hitting the heavy bag. I tried washing them (in cold water and hang dry), and they came out just fine with no damage. So I ordered a second pair in June of the same year. That way, I always have one pair that doesn't smell, while I am washing the other pair. But I don't need to what them very often, maybe once or twice a year.

I only hit the heavy bag once or twice a week for my morning cardio (I walk on other days), but I have been doing so with these gloves for over four years (it now being October 2014), and I've washed them several times. Both pairs are still in fine condition. So I am giving these Everlast gloves five stars for providing the needed padding for hitting a heavy bag, for being long-lasting, and for being washable.

I use these every time I box they are so comfortable. I have super tiny hands and was having a lot of trouble finding something that fit well. These are great because I can use them and my sister borrowed them and her hands are not very small and they worked for her too. I use these with wraps and they work perfectly. Haven’t had issues with my knuckles getting cut up with these either which happened to me in a lot of gloves cause my hands had too much room. These are definitely worth your money!

Originally seemed a little low key with the protection of my hands-but all the cushioning appears to be were it needs to be. I wear another pair of work out gloves to wrap and protect my wrists-which I recommend (gloves you would wear to lift weights) underneath or wrapping your wrists before using them since they don't have a wrist protection element.

Didn't like these at all. The thumbless design is totally uncool and a danger to your bare skin on a heavy bag or a reflex ball. The padded area in the palms for you to grip is way too small and useless, leaving your hands unprotected yet again. The gloves themselves are toys at best and nothing any serious training person would ever use on a daily basis.

I have a heavy bag and workout with dvd workouts. The problem with the standard boxing gloves is that I had to take my glove off in order to press play for the workout I wanted to do, as well as when I wanted to pause the workout, or even drink water, etc., I saw these online and decided to try them and I am so glad that I did. I can now push play and don't have to worry about rushing to try to put the glove back on so as not to lose too much workout time. Padding is great as well.

FYI: They run small. I am female and my hands are small and they fit just right. I would say that these gloves are more for women with small hands. My hands measure, without the thumb, around the knuckles, 7.5", that's pretty small. I highly recommend this product.

+ el material de la palma es transpirable y no guarda humedad.
- para sujetar a la muñeca tiene un resorte, y al meter la mano con vendas es difícil y hay que jalar el material, lo que provocó que las costuras se rompieran.
Supongo que remplazaré el resorte con velcro, para no forzar más el material y conservarlo en buen estado.

En realidad yo no se mucho de boxeo pero si se un poco de Artes marciales y pues los compre por que vi que tenía muy buenos comentarios y por baratos y los considero muy malos por que son muy ligeros y yo tengo entendido que para boxeo deben pesar 12 onzas cada uno lo cual estos no pesan el material se ve de muy mala calidad y delicados, protege bien los nudillos pero no te protege bien la palma de la mano y si te quieres vendar la mano lo cual es totalmente rerecomendable si quieres practicar Box es un poco complicado meter y sacar la mano y ni siquiera los considero buenos para Artes marciales, para lo único que serían buenos es para que jueguen los niños o para las personas que hacen aeróbics con Box pero definitivamente jamás para entrenar Box ni Artes marciales

No one should feel threatened by my god given pugilistic skills. So am going to put the gloves failings down to the materials and craftsmanship. Or lack thereof. positively surprised by these gloves ! they are very light, but do absorb a lot of impact when you hit the bag. Not sure how long they will last but for the price they seem to be quite durable. They leave your thumb unprotected and they are not so padded, so not for sparring. Also, they offer little to no wrist protection, so be sure you know how to properly throw a punch before using them intensively on the bag. But if you train for self defense, not having too much of a wrist protection is actually a good, more realistic thing. Very nice bag gloves for the price.
